umm, smyth? Smyth isn't even close to a pro-stock Kovy. I don't know wtf you guys find these toe curves, because I can NEVER find any, and I check ebay every damn day :(

how do the sickick shaft and the R8 compare? R8 is lighter, more balanced, and whippier than the Sickick (which is a mid-flex, compared to the R8's whip). I also like the grip zone and how concave the R8 shaft is as well. I've only used it twice, but I'll have a better review this weekend. Sickick was my all-time fav shaft, and I'm really liking the R8 so far..

These have basically totally fallen apart, 1/2 of the eyelets are gone, basically no toe-cap material left, textile material completely separating from the carbon boot. All the usual 1500c probs basically.

Are those the 9k pants? Are you wearing them unzipped. I tried doing that, but the velcro keeps getting stuck to my socks, I'm thinking of cutting them off. What did you do? Thats exactly what I did. Cut the velcro, and cut the zipper up just a little more, because it would stick to my socks too.

Yeah, I'm wearing them, they are really thin base Bauer (400's or something, they are OLD). I'll be getting new ones soon, but as you can tell I can hardly tell I'm wearing them. I wouldn't ever play w/o shins :lol: I looooove the Christian woodie blades. I use the T-6 pattern, and then put way more toe curve and open it way up. It is pretty much an exact rep of an Ovechkin pro-stock now. Puck feel and release is fantastic with my combo (Sickick shaft), and IMO is better than any OPS I have (S17, Dolo Grip, Vapor XX)

Well i cant really say i REMEMBER them cuz i was only a few years old. But yes, seeing highlights and those players after they played HS gives me a good idea as to how good they were. Amazing tradition in the powder blue. Yep, the Jeffersn Youth progam has produced some great players as of late. Too bad the USNDT/Holy Angels/Juniors has been bleeding the Jeffersn progam as of late, othewise Peter Mueller and Erik Johnson would have suited up for the Jags too..Both are products of the Jefferson Youth Progam. It has been awhile, but since I now live in Shakopee and there is a new rink close by, I havent needed to play at the BIG. I always loved the Ice Garden and Braemar. Do you get your gear at Westwood in AV?? Unless you have a night job, good luck finding ice time at this time of the year unless you rent :( Superrink is having their last evening of open puck tonight at 9:20 if any of your are interested. They start it back up in a month or two. Everywhere else seems to only have day ice for the next month.
