Not to nitpick, but Doug Weight isn't in the HHOF. -
Blackstone Flat-Bottom V Thread
JR Boucicaut replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Yes, they're out there. We have a player here in town who had to come to our store to get it done because he can't get it done in his own locker room. One of my key holders did it, so I didn't get to talk to him. I've put some feelers out there trying to get him back in to set him on a steel rotation. In a lot of cases, it's up to the EQM. And in some cases, those EQMs are doing a disservice by not giving a player what they want/are used to. -

We've started its own thread. I had been working with TRUE to keep this under wraps on MSH for a few weeks now. -
Sparx Skate Sharpener - At home sharpener
JR Boucicaut replied to tamtamg's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Read an article this morning about the R Bar in Columbus buying a Sparx and having a beer/sharpening deal. They bought one due to the fact that we (Total Hockey) and The Hockey Stop closing over the past year. That being said, didn't know they moved the location. We went there for the 2007 NHL Draft. http://bluejacketsxtra.dispatch.com/content/blogs/puck-rakers/2016/11/hockey--the-city-how-the-r-bar-became-a-puck-centric-haven-for-fans.html -
I still don't think it's going to matter. We thought that people would want to revert to LS2 when Edge came out so that they can keep Step. That didn't happen. I highly doubt many people will want to switch to a completely new holder at this point.

The top geometry of the steel is a part of it.

Interesting. You would think they would go for both sets of patents when they came out with it. So it's interesting that Step is still allowed to manufacture.

hybrid Bauer Pro 15 Carry Hockey Bags opinions?
JR Boucicaut replied to OnePunchMan's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
Bauer's bags will improve; Easton always made great bags. And that product manager is now responsible for Bauer's. This bag looks very similar to the old Vapor 10 bag, which I thought was Bauer's best bag of all time. -
It's funny though because I guess I never noticed it. But I just happened to catch an Edge holder in the right light a couple of days ago and realized there wasn't a Canadian patent listed on the holder. (It's on the rear tower on the inside edge, kinda where Graf lists holder size.)
-
Most likely because Ralph also has US accounts that he sells to; Nash is my (TH's) Step distributor.
-
The stamp on the holder only lists an US patent. Might be the reason why.
