  1. Bauer's bags will improve; Easton always made great bags. And that product manager is now responsible for Bauer's. This bag looks very similar to the old Vapor 10 bag, which I thought was Bauer's best bag of all time.
  2. Yes. No need to crossgrind when changing hollows.
  3. That is the fix that we do in my store with all of the non-Bauer helmets. We shave the clips down on the cross grinder. Sneaky move by Bauer to make it difficult - I get the concept (no pun intended) behind the reworking of the mount.
  4. Nice pics, Gordon! Was thinking about you the other day - hope all's well!
  5. Exactly. I'll never forget the one time that a holder was seriously mismounted. The story I got from the rep was something about how all of their mounts are laser guided and there was no way that could've happened. They rejected the claim without even seeing it. Had to eat the skate and put the customer into something else.
  6. Graf had always been offering their classic skates as an orderable option. Just because they weren't in the lineup didn't mean they weren't available.

  8. But even then - it was never a dominating brand. I wore 705s back in 1997 when most were in Supremes and Tacks.
  9. You make this seem as if retail customers in North America still want Graf. They don't. For quite some time now.
  10. It's true. Vaughn bought the machinery and moved it to their factory. This happened almost a month ago.
  11. Received the go-ahead from CCM to post on the stick. It still continues the Ribcor trademark of having visual technology, but what has been changed from the Reckoner is the layup; it features a new flex profile that has been tweaked for quicker release, The blade structure is also new; weight reduction and improved puck feel.
  12. Mine did not require new holes. Used exactly the size it required. Remember that SB 4.0 has same rivet pattern as Tuuk. As long as you match the holder size you should be good. Had to expand on one of the holes.
  13. No, put the insole you intend to use in the skate once you're about to put it on.
  14. Sorry, a bit late with all that has been happening as of late - Got the skates a couple of days before I had to go to Columbus, OH for a business trip, and so the first time I skated on them was at SummerJam. These skates have felt nothing like any other CCM skate I've ever worn. The left skate was absolutely perfect. The right skate, however, started to develop a bit of arch pain in them. But I did not lace them up myself (thanks, @mojo122) so the lacing wasn't the same as the left. I had difficulty getting dressed in the locker room and sadly enough, had to require help lacing and then unlacing my skates when I was done. The injury that I sustained during Winterfest simply hasn't gotten better. I think I skated for an hour on them.
  15. I'm still interested in seeing the machine and/or a sharpened set. Looks like customers seem to be happy with the final product.
  16. You need to go one up from Jetspeed. I wore 10.5 in Jetspeed as well as MX3, and 11 in these. I tried the 10.5 ST and couldn't get the skate on.
  17. I referenced how the carbon fiber that they use in the skate changes post-bake. It pushed out at the balls of my feet. JS also spoke on this: Posted April 18 This is merely a PSA so that people don't think it's cracked.
