  1. Not to nitpick, but Doug Weight isn't in the HHOF.
  2. Yes, they're out there. We have a player here in town who had to come to our store to get it done because he can't get it done in his own locker room. One of my key holders did it, so I didn't get to talk to him. I've put some feelers out there trying to get him back in to set him on a steel rotation. In a lot of cases, it's up to the EQM. And in some cases, those EQMs are doing a disservice by not giving a player what they want/are used to.
  3. We've started its own thread. I had been working with TRUE to keep this under wraps on MSH for a few weeks now.
  4. Read an article this morning about the R Bar in Columbus buying a Sparx and having a beer/sharpening deal. They bought one due to the fact that we (Total Hockey) and The Hockey Stop closing over the past year. That being said, didn't know they moved the location. We went there for the 2007 NHL Draft. http://bluejacketsxtra.dispatch.com/content/blogs/puck-rakers/2016/11/hockey--the-city-how-the-r-bar-became-a-puck-centric-haven-for-fans.html
  5. Bauer's bags will improve; Easton always made great bags. And that product manager is now responsible for Bauer's. This bag looks very similar to the old Vapor 10 bag, which I thought was Bauer's best bag of all time.
  6. Yes. No need to crossgrind when changing hollows.
  7. That is the fix that we do in my store with all of the non-Bauer helmets. We shave the clips down on the cross grinder. Sneaky move by Bauer to make it difficult - I get the concept (no pun intended) behind the reworking of the mount.
  8. Nice pics, Gordon! Was thinking about you the other day - hope all's well!
  9. Exactly. I'll never forget the one time that a holder was seriously mismounted. The story I got from the rep was something about how all of their mounts are laser guided and there was no way that could've happened. They rejected the claim without even seeing it. Had to eat the skate and put the customer into something else.
  10. Graf had always been offering their classic skates as an orderable option. Just because they weren't in the lineup didn't mean they weren't available.

  12. But even then - it was never a dominating brand. I wore 705s back in 1997 when most were in Supremes and Tacks.
  13. You make this seem as if retail customers in North America still want Graf. They don't. For quite some time now.
  14. It's true. Vaughn bought the machinery and moved it to their factory. This happened almost a month ago.
  15. Received the go-ahead from CCM to post on the stick. It still continues the Ribcor trademark of having visual technology, but what has been changed from the Reckoner is the layup; it features a new flex profile that has been tweaked for quicker release, The blade structure is also new; weight reduction and improved puck feel.
