  1. Easton Air 4000 Not a bad pick-up for 65 cdn. I'm loving the old Easton logo :D
  2. Tokes, how do you find driving a RHD car? If the GTRs weren't RHD, I'd buy one in a heartbeat
  3. 2 for $300 cdn, I split it with "Ferny" he got a 95 flex Downie
  4. Got it from the LHS...pretty sure its from the world juniors because they had a few Pouliots and Downies. Not sure what mine is because the grip covers all the letters up until "vacina"
  5. Picked this up this morning... p91 87 flex :D
  6. Mission Fuel AG 110 7.5 EE Previous Skates: Nike Quest V-12, Bauer Supreme 8090, Graf 502, Easton Ultra-Lite Pro CCM 1052 custom lite 5’6 150 lbs Intro I’ve had arch problems with pretty much every skate, lesser with the 8090s, but it was still there. This was the first year my LHS decided to stock Missions, but they only had the 95 and 85 so they got the rep to let me demo the 110s before I ordered them in. Fit I’ve got a wider foot on the flatter side so this skate fits pretty comfortably. My arch used to ache with almost all my previous skate but these feel pretty good, there is little to no pain. The only gripe I had was that the heel is slightly too wide, and when I baked them they became longer and don’t fit as well. 9/10 Blade/Holder Wow I thought TUUK lightspeeds were the best holder around, but these are just as good and better because I can change the pitch without heel lifts. Also the steel is amazing, my past 2 skates have had warped steel, and these appear to be straight. 10/10 Weight- They aren’t bricks, but they’re not as light as the 8090s 8.5/10 Protection The protection is ok…I took a slapshot off the foot and it stung for a bit but nowhere near as much as it did with my V-12s. 8/10 Durability Used for about 30 hours and the only damage seems to be cosmetic. There are a few skate cuts down the side of the boot but the stiffness is still there. edit:outsole is splitting underneath the heel, never happened to any of my other skates before 7/10 Conclusion I waited about a month and a half before they got here but it was worth the wait. I wish I had molded the demo pair because I had no idea they expanded after molding. The forward flex is amazing in these; I don’t know how I was able to skate in V-12s before. So far these have been the best skates I’ve had, and I’ll continue to support Mission products. Overall 8.5/10
  7. They're just really loose because I was airing them out.
  8. did u get a free pulse or hex-1 with your skates? cuz mission is havin one of those promos when u buy a pair of fuel 110 ag/xp or fuel 95ag/xp u get either a hex 1 or pulse from the mission web site: " Get a free (doesnt include the $6.95 shipping fee) pulse, pulse grip, hex-1, or hex-1 grip stick when you purchase a new pair of fuel 110- AG, fuel 110- XP, fuel 95- AG, or fuel 95- XP skates. Get ready, promo starts June 15th and ends August 15th, 2006." mission promo 8-10 weeks for delivery....and I really regret ordering the 65 flex...should've got the 85 :( Edit:Chose the pulse in 65 flex because I've already got a Hex-1 in 85 flex that seems way to stiff for me...weird because I'm pretty comfortable with the 85 flex AK27.
  9. Yeah, I got it at Icelevel Sports in Richmond.
  10. Picked this up today after snapping my flyweight Fuel Ag 110s

  12. My gear Just got the Intake today, R2Xn10 came in the mail middle of this week.
  13. Edge those are INSANE.
  14. Aren't those just the new 735s?
  15. Most gloves were M size so I'm thinking they're 14". They had the regular black/white M-1,a bunch of black with red lettering, a pair of 14" Tampa Nylon HE750s with a regular nash palm, a M size St.Louis blues M-1 with some type of thicker grippy palm. Most were leather M-1s I think I got the only pair of nylon L-7s.
  16. My LHS (cyclonetaylor.com) has a bunch of mission pro stock gloves all at $100 cad. They're not on the site but you could probably give them a call.
  17. Lucked out 2day at the LHS, picked up these Pro Stock L-7s for $100 CAD. The pics suck because I used a webcam, they're Staios Edmonton gloves and they feel amazing. Nylon, mesh gussets, thin nash palm.
  18. Helmet-Bauer 8000 w/ccm 480 black cage,might get a purple 5000 soon Shoulder-CCM Pro Tacks Elbow-Nike V10 Gloves-Eagle X-70 (had em for 2 years went back to them after my X50is got to small, need new gloves soon though) Pants-RBK 8K Shins-Bauer 6000 Skates-Nike V-12 Sticks-TPS Tri-Core 3 w/Drury Z-carbon, Mission Flyweight w/mission smolinski blade,Mission Hex-1 Grip 85, Synergy ST 65, Synthesis 75 w/wood modano,Inno 1100 Dual-Kick w/Bauer XV, Inno True-1
  19. Do they even sell that color helmet retail? It looks awesome.
  20. Product- Nike V10 Elbow pads Background- 5'6 150 pounds, centre/rightwing Use of product- 10 months of use Fit- Very comfortable elbow pads, the only thing I would change would be to make them a little deeper. The first few times it felt like my elbow wasn’t sitting right in the pad. It’s only slipped once after falling, but I did get a bruise. 8/10 Protection- Besides it slipping, I’ve never been hurt wearing these elbows. 9/10 Weight- Pretty light, don’t really notice that I’m wearing them now. 10/10 Durability- No rips or tears still in awesome shape. 10/10 Intangibles- I chose these instead of the Jofas because they were cheaper. Once they are worn in they’re the best elbow pads ever. I tried my brothers Jofa 9135s for 1 game and they aren’t near as comfortable as the Nikes. 10/10 Conclusion- Great elbow pads, I’ll probably stick with Nike for elbow unless I can find a pad with a deeper fit and with the same comfort. The liner feels great on them; they are really popular around here too. Overall Rating: 9.4 (average)
  21. I still think the gloves from the Easton custom program are their nicest gloves. I'm glad my LHS ordered them for their shop I plan on buying them when my Eagles are shot. I'm wondering though, why the 800s have the coil and the 900s don't?Or atleast that's what it says in the catalogue.

    Eagle X50i

Product- Eagle X50i 13†gloves Background- 5'6 150 pounds, centre/rightwing Use of product- 1 ½ months 4 ice times/week Fit- Not as loose as the X70 model which I had previously. Took a while to break in because of the split fingers but now they have lots of mobility and feel great. 9/10 Protection- Decent protection, doesn’t have plastic inserts or a lock thumb like the newer high-end gloves but it’s been enough so far playing midget rep. The cuff is a little short but I have big elbow pads so it’s alright. I did bruise my wrist once after taking 2 consecutive hits to the boards but I doubt any other glove would have prevented that. 7.5/10 Weight- One of the lightest gloves I’ve had, only glove that would be much lighter would have to be made of nylon. 9/10 Durability- Eagle gloves have awesome durability. They’ve been used for about a month of 4 ice times/week and the glove is mint. The palms are a little crispy but that’s not a big deal. I air them out every ice time and I expect the palms will last for a while. 10/10 Intangibles- I love the look of these gloves. They’re an older model X50i with a hologram on the cuff that just looks awesome. 9/10 Conclusion- I got these gloves at a consignment store new for 55$ CAD so I decided to try them out. I’m glad I did because in stores they’re about $150, and I wouldn’t pay that much for a glove without split fingers and plastic inserts. This has been my 2nd pair of Eagle gloves (first was x70) and they have been outstanding in durability. Overall Rating: 8.9 (average)
