Yeah, that sweater is a 56 and Im like 5'7" so i had to roll up the sleeves @ Bender- He's collecting a paycheck and getting excited while I wheel lol

Last night. One of the guys on the coed team I play on is a photographer. I didnt even know the guy was snapping photos. Must be a part time stalker as well lol

I liked them because I didnt want to pay $279 for custom warriors in the mustard or yellow colorway. Plus they feel pretty good. I got mine for well under $200. They certainly arent worth more than that in my opinion.

If you are talking about those easton vintage gloves, its funny i saw a few cats on ebay talking about "these are the real deal, no the china fake nylon vintage gloves." I have a pair and they have a bio dri liner and are made in canada. No big deal, but great gloves though.

I just picked these up: Not a big fan of PU, but the mix actually feels pretty good. Quite pleased.

Yeah, I need to add another pair of Eagles to my collection. I only have a pair of those 1997 Edition pro glo black golds. I need a knit pair that I may actully take out for a spin. I was at a local shop and got to try on ( they only had one of each glove ) some of the new "lower-end" if you can call them that, eagle gloves( i think the PFX and x95 ). They said the price point would be like $120 or something like that, but they are so butter for that price and they are all knit with inserts.

I almost bought those Kaspers! I saw them on the bay and those Eastons as well. I went for the vintage EQ5 MTL's instead:

Thanks. I still havent tried them, but they do fit well.

Nope, I just went with a 7.25 C/AA on each side. I had been using a 7.5 in bauer for a while, and the 7 was too short. The 7.25 is perfect. I went with a 4 stiffness, extra eylets, and extra stiff tendon guards (w/notch filled in). My tongue is 3/8" thick, and next time ill probly go 7/16ths and even though I measure up as a C width on both feet, I may go D on my right foot cause unless its just a break-in thing, my right foot feels a little too snug on the sides in these. Ill have to skate in them first, then maybe punch them out. We'll see. Overall Im happy though!

My new custom x60s: These were turned around in less than 3 weeks. End of the season. Pretty pleased with the outcome.

If I ever feel the need to wear a birdcage again:

JR, Does CCM have a new, all black skate coming out? Of all places, I was watching an ECHL game locally and I saw a few players from the other team ( SC Stingrays ) wearing what looked like CCM u+'s, but were all black. Just curious.

Where did you get those eastons? Ive been looking for a pair ever since my buddies brother got this ONE glove mixed up in his off-season bag and brought it home: I tried it on and it was so butter, but no mate!
-
Ive decided to dabble in net, and picked these up at my local Play it Again Sports: They look like they have barely seen any shots. My goalie buddies say they are a legit setup for the price I got them for.

Thanks. Yeah I havent used the pump since circa 95 so when I put this on I was really impressed. I currently wear pro-stock Vector 10.0's and I wanted something that fit fairly similar, and these fit better aside from the tongue thing. Its just a matter of too much flop lol. Yes, very nice skates. I was wondering if when you put Tuuks in place of E-pros if there are any holes exposed on the bottom. Can you take a pic of the bottoms? Sure, I can take a pic when I get them back. You can pm me to remind me, but there are two holes exposed on the back of the front section of the boot. Its weird because I have a pair of Vector Pro 10.0's and when i put the tuuk on, the holes almost lined up. Furthermore, the CCM holder that was removed was a 263. However on the 9k's, although the boot is the same length ( at least they feel like the same length as they are both a 7D ), the CCM holder that I removed was a 271.

Whats PHEW? Yeah, Im a proponent of the flop, but on a size 7 skate, when your tongue almost touches your toebox when they are tied up looks ridiculous lol

Just picked these up. I had to send them back though as the tongues were too Ron Jeremy for me. Just getting them swapped out to about an inch and a half shorter.
-
Im just glad these are out already. James Bond couldnt top this secretive hype lol
-
Thats a rad collection. I had to reduce my stick collection, as it was getting out of hand lol
-
Mine are a size 7.5D, I think if I went custom though, I would go 7 1/4C.
-
Yeah, I couldnt believe that someone else, let alone Mark Recchi had hot dog-narrow feet like me lol. Well my friend plays for the Cyclones in Cincinnati and the dude wears a size 10 3/4 baaa skate which is crazy narrow. In any event, I got the skates for a sweet deal and they fit awesome. Ill pull a Gomez and go back to these Vectors once I get tired of my one95's lol
-
Just got these (well about a month ago): Gonna throw some Lightspeeds on them, they are so butter......
-
Yep, same tongues, but I got them at a LHS
-
Just got the one95s 3 weeks ago. They are pretty rad.
