Does anyone know a place in CT or MA that does FBV sharpenings? I've been dying to give it a try but none of the places around me have them.

Here is my first conversion, I did it using T-Nuts and Phillips Screws, i've skated on them for about 20 hours and they are great. Skates: CCM 795 Ultra White Tacks, With Custom White Felt Tongue Chassis: CCM Tri-Di Magnesium Bearings: Bones Reds Wheels: Rink Rat Hot Shots If I had to do it again the only thing I would change is the back wheels, I went 76a for the front two and 78a for the back two. I am 200 lbs and an agressive skater and my back wheels have started to crack a little, I would have gone with an 80A for the back. (Does that sound crazy or not?) Anyways the longest part of the conversion was trying to line up the holders evenly and the same on both skates but I feel I did a good job and they skate great.

I remember last year they painted his skates because they didn't want a rookie having flashy skates or something to that extent, but I think I also remember something being said about he needs to establish himself more before he got to wear the white skates.

how did you end up liking the velocity steel?

I know that in order to order the step steel you have to do it through a retailer but i've tried to contact NASH and have had no response, where has everyone been getting their steel from I need a pair of 280LS Velocity steel before my season starts.

What i've been driving lately my 98 Wrangler, 33x12.5 tires, small lift, 5 speed. I also mess around with VR6 Volkswagen's having both a Passat and GTI.

Is it just me or do those holders look too small for that boot? I think they are, those are old LS1 holders, all vapor xxx came with LS2's so those are either pro stocks or someone had swapped out the holder.

Well I think I did this before, but without pics, anyways heres the updated version with pics. Bottoms, Jofa Pro Stock Pants, got them used for $40, have a nike shell over them, they have detachable bottoms I like them pretty comfy. Shins, RBK 7K I was going to get the 8K but they didn't have my size, I love these, replaced my 4 year old Jofa 8060's and these are great. Skates, Pro Stock size 9.75D/A Vapor 10's. One has Bauer logo other doesn't anyone know why? I love them tho and they kicked out my Pro Tacks with LS2's. Uppers, Itech 855's I've worn them for 6 years now, Took the additional shoulder padding off, cut away the back of some of the padding, they are a small, I need a large, but I cant find anything new that I can adjust to. Jofa 9044's in size 4, Had them for 3 years now love them. Gloves, Pro Stock HE-750's from the monkey. Edmonton Color Scheme, Nylon. Sticks, Inno Novius 260 Flex, Warrior Starskie 100 Flex pulled out blade now tapered mission. 2X Skoula Pro Stock SL's cut to fit tapered blades. CCM Recchi Intermediate.
