Perron: “No, he didn’t say anything about that.” 6. what do you think of the blues fanbase so far? Perron: “It’s been great so far. It started at the developmental camp. The Mills was packed. It’s been the same since I got here and it’s awesome. I’m from Montreal, which is a great city for hockey, and the fans are awesome there. It’s pretty much the same here and it’s getting better.” 7. What does he think about the new Therma Blade skates that the NHL is thinking about implementing and has he tried them out? Perron: “I haven’t tried them out. I don’t have much information about the blades. I know what they are, but I haven’t tried them yet.” 8. Does he understand why he is not playing? And if so what does he think about it. Perron: “Like I said, I want to play every night. I do and I don’t understand at one point. But it’s great to be here so far. I’ve enjoyed my time and I know I’m going to get my chance. I just have to be patient.” 9. David what surprised you the most at practice in the NHL, the speed/pace of the play? Perron: “It is much faster. You have less time to make plays. You have to be quicker in everything. But playing with better players will help you a lot, too. Because it’s easier. You make pass, they’re going to give it back. At one point, the game gets easier because of that.” JR
