He's been taking daily skates at my local rink...ill try and check to see if he is using anything different Any updates?
-
So when does the 'Crosby' pattern become available?
-
Seeing as the Crosby curve is available on 9/1 (his Sherwood contract is up), any idea what stick we are going to see Crosby using next season? I am guessing he will keep a standard shaft/wood blade.

2007 Nike/Bauer Holiday Catalogue
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2007 Product Catalogue Reviews
Never got it back. Sorry. Anything to write home about? -
Now that some of the '07 product is out...has anyone had a chance to compare the different lies on the Fedorov blades? Would their 5 lie match up to a Forsberg? Also, anyone know if their 4 lie Fedorov is the same as their Fedorov last year (which was stated to be a 4, but wasn't)
-
all i know is that the 1st gen. Synergy costs roughly $8 USD to make. they claim they don't make that much profit because of the labor costs and the cost of the machinery Those #'s are off base...the cost of just the raw materials (kevlar, graphite, fiberglass) are much higher than that. as both you and Dark Star said, you then have to factor in labor costs, overhead, R&D, and machinery & equipment...not too mention advertising as well
-
That would make sense with the way they release products, thanks
-
Is it a spray on grip ala Easton (which will inevitably peel)?
-
I haven't seen the nipple grip in person...is it a clear coat like Easton's or is it closer to the texture of the TPS Armour/Supreme One90 stick?
-
Some of their stuff looks interesting...anything stand out this year from the line?
-
WAY too high...only stick that can go above two bills is Easton...we will see have the 9K pans out
-
That has not be confirmed
-
How did you know I wore an 8D? That is very nice of you to get them for me! ;)
-
Are the 120 AG's a price increase or do they just slide into the 110 AG price point? Any idea of the retail? Also, is the VDS tapered blade that atomic mentioned the V-Hex blade or is this a late addition to the line like the 9K for Rbk?
-
I like the looks of the V-Hex2
-
I have found the same. I am a big fan of the wavebridge
-
I noticed that too...seems the 5K OPS is a step down from the prior model and the 7K weighs basically the same as the Synergy ST. If the 7K is more than $150 (which it will be) that will be a tough sell
-
I didn't get a chance to see the pant line...are there any (significant) differences between the Supreme and the Vapor line? Looks wise, they appear very similar
-
What is the XXXX going to retail for? I was thinking in the $499 US ballpark...am I way off base?
-
I don't remember off the top...are there any non-pump high end skates?
-
The AK27 is not a combo actually, it's fused like the Dolomite / 1100. It's noticably lighter than the Dolomites I have (in fact it's lighter than my XN10s), but I find the shaft vibrates a little more and has a little less pop. Remember though, these are pro sticks so they're not comparable to the retail versions. Flash - Of all the sticks you have...which company tends to have the highest quality product, stick in and stick out, TPS, Easton, Warrior, etc? (I am refering to performance coupled with durability, feel, etc)
-
Does anyone know if the standard blades (AK27's) are normal length hosel's like Easton, TPS, etc...or does each curve have a different length hosel like Inno's did? That used to really piss me off to have to change my shaft lenght for a blade

2006 NBH Player/Accessories Catalogue
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2006 Product Catalogue Reviews
Good call. Good bye Bauer :( JR - Do you know if they will eliminate one line of skates? If they did I would assume it would be the Flexlite, just because the Supreme line was just redone and the Vapor is so popular -
2006 NBH Player/Accessories Catalogue
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2006 Product Catalogue Reviews
What will change for 2007? Having a full range of NBH, Nike, and Bauer skates? Or the Flexlite 12 will change? I would guess both would change and NBH will be a single line from here on out.
