  1. Lol I had no idea that Wickenheiser was a girl. Just googled her. I do like them though, except that on three occasions tonight I failed to catch an aerial pass because I couldn't open them up quick enough (not broken in) and the puck just bounced off the tips of my fingers.. ouch. MAN.. I wear a chick's glove.. however manly she is.. I'm not gonna let anyone know that.
  2. Off of ebay, I'm sure you guys have seen them on there. Pro stock Team Canada H.Wickenheiser stitched on "cuff". Its 13"-1" so there is not much of a cuff to speak of. Trying them out tonight.
  3. I think that's just an illusion from the switching to and from cable knit. It looks like its a solid roll with a HD plastic insert. But I'm just going off of appearances :)
  4. "Lucked" out on some mystery curves from the monkey. Ordered 1 mystery pro stock composite and a 3 pack of SWD Spezza 950 tapered woodies. Got a call a few days later from a manager (female, sounded cute) saying they only had 1 Spezza remaining. I asked them to give me another mystery curve (2 total) and make sure that they are as similar to the Spezza, and to credit the difference. The following is what I received. Curve #1 I think this is Drury-ish. About a 6 lie, a bit too high for me. Curve #2 I like this one a lot. About a 5-5.5 lie, which is ideal; however, its short-hosel and all my shafts are currently cut for long-hosel. I picked up a dolomite shaft from the B/S/T section and hope it comes soon because I want to give this thing a whirl. For some reason I dislike using end-plugs. Oh, yes I am OCD about my tape jobs.
  5. Damn, I hate not having a car. I guess I'm going to have to check it out the next time I borrow my roommate's car. Have you or geoff tried it out yet? I ordered a set of step steel from Bob @ noicing. 8'/12' combo and medium aggressive pitch at 90/75 FBV. I could definitely tell a difference with the glide, but I was skating 1/2" before.. felt like a bit less bite. Anyways, I love it and actually think I'm gonna stick with the 90/75 as I'm quite used to it now. I'm glad I got a local shop now with FBV (sorry Bob). Geoff is a bum.... but he's still gonna burn and dangle me regardless of the sharpening hes on.
  6. Sorry to hear JR. On a brighter note, MD/DC/VA MSHers. FBV has arrived at Ashburn Ice house. They got all 5(?) wheels. I don't know what Tim is charging but I'm sure its not much more than a standard sharpening.
  7. He could be french. Danglars. A la Count of Montecristo by Dumas. You english major.
  8. I'll be at the game tomorrow/tonight with the Blues @ the Caps. Whenever Perron makes something happen I'll cheer a bit until someone notices, then I'll boo. Gotta support the MSH fam but my Caps are always number 1.
