that makes sense. My bike doesnt' charge itself unless you're running over 5 or 6k on the tach. glad to hear it's up and running!

if you can't afford to sit out for the last couple of games then taking a break this game is probably the smart thing to do. Better to sacrifice 1 game now rather than injure/reinjure it more and be out for multiple games.

I would have let a nice slapper go if they kept blocking it...i'm assuming you were probably not allowed to shot slap shots either?

What kind? I have a Ninja 650r and a Buell 1125R. Got a good deal on a Yamaha FZ6R. It's essentially a dumbed down 600... my dad and insurance price talked me out of the R6 I wanted (i'll probably have a better chance of living until i get comfortable on the bike lol) When you decide you want more performance you can just get a piggy back ECU for cheap (and if you want to, but not neccesary, R6 cams) and you can get alot more out of the bike. The FZR is just a detuned R6 03-05 engine. You may actually like the FZ6R more, it has better mid range torque though it lacks some high end so for highway/city cruising the FZR is a better choice. If youre going to track it, the R6 of the same year has the edge... newer R6's also have some extra goodies but nothing huge for a first bike. Let me know if you have any questions about the bike, especially the engine as I've designed and built Formula race cars using the same years R6. If you want some tips on things I'd change right away to save yourself a headache down the road let me know. Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Being that it's my first bike i haven't planned any upgrades yet other than cosmetic. Once i get used to it I'll upgrade. Do you post in the FZ6R forums or R6 forums?

I like the graphics too, I just don't see them holding up well. They weren't sprayed very well with clear and I can feel the edge of some of them. As long as it holds together/performs Ballistik will definitely be getting my business. I noticed the same with my 22 Caliber I got. One of the A's in the Ballistik is already half off. However, I think you'll like the stick. My 22 Cal is really nice for a mid-range stick. Do you know if e-bay is the only place to buy them? Do they come with a warranty if you get them from e-bay? I hope not. I would gladly give them business Hockeygiant carries the 52 Cal and their gloves... maybe we'll start seeing more online dealers carrying their equipment in the future?

I'm just saying at like 75 you're probably not gonna drop down to 4th right? so accelerating from 75 to 100+ is gonna have to be done in 5th gear so that combined with the all wheel drive taking up power, the wrx will accelerate slowly, correct? And even if you do drop to 4th, it still won't pick up that quick will it? any way you cut it, it's a four banger, which are notoriously lacking in the higher gears. and who's really worried about performance at 80-90 mph+ anyways? you're already past the limit at that point, right? you should be worried about the acceleration from 45/50 up to mid 60s. True, I've just heard they're fast from a stop but from a roll, even like 20-30, they're slow and even like an rsx will beat them. I never thought deciding what to get would be this hard. I might go back to thinking about a Z but they seem like the least practical of everything I'm looking at. you can easily drop down to 4th when rolling at 75mph. Stock WRX's hit mid 14's in the quarter mile right around 90mph...i can assure you that they don't hit 5th gear in quarter mile. I might go back to thinking about a Z but they seem like the least practical of everything I'm looking at. the only reason they're fast from a stop is the turbo. just like the old MR2s.... they PULLED like crazy from about 4500rpm NA, but getting there was painful, the forced air systems in the later years solved that problem. thats a decent car to look at as well... but only if you're dont mind sitting next to stinky gear on the way home! You sir... are wrong. The reason they are quicker from a stop is due to the 4wd and the traction they get. Turbo takes a bit of time to spool up. Unless we are talking about th STi...which we are not.

5th gear is a cruising gear...

and don't look super excited when you go on a test drive or look really eager to buy that new car. Once a salesman see's that, then he knows he has you by your balls.

dude... that's about as diverse as you can get. 4 door boxer engine vs 2 door integra. hmmm... what do you have now?

still have 2 pairs of 3 finger wicked light gloves. i loved those damn things. Then i came up on some X72's...all of a sudden the wicked lights didn't mean so much to me anymore lol
