  1. I thought that promotion was over? I realize that they have it on their website still, but on their Facebook page they mention that it was to end on 6/14?
  2. Krev, I'm sorry to hear about what UPS did with you product; the drivers must have been on crack! So out of curiosity, did they compensate you for the inconveniences?
  3. So I took the day off of work to sign for a package from FedEx that was scheduled to be delivered to my house. Luckily I had a bunch of chores to do around the house, so the time went by rather quickly. Around 8:00pm, I am getting a bit concerned if they were going to deliver the package; usually when I get stuff from FedEx it's no later than 5:00pm. Fearing the worst, I decided to check my email and sure enough there is auto generated email from FedEx stating that they had the box on their truck, but made no attempt of delivering the goods. WTF!!! Now, I have to wait until Monday to see if they can attempt a delivery I realize that may seem trivial compared to the other events going on in the world; I guess I'm a little pissed
  4. What's the general consensus if a player is at a stick and puck session and declines an invitation to scrimmage with other players at the same session?
  5. Congratulations to your uncle for not giving up the fight! I have a series of three tattoos across my shoulder blades and back that I got almost 10 years ago. The tattoos still are in good shape and have not changed in shape since my back hasn't gotten bigger (only my bell  ). I thought they tattoos were going to be a bit painful, but it was less painful than a lot of other areas. The only time it hurt is when the work is done being on the shoulder blade; it felt like the needle was right on the bone (not saying that it was, but it felt like it). Hopefully this helps.
  6. Nice collection of sticks and gloves! Definitely like the Warrior gloves in the Sharks colors and those crazy toe curves on those Eastons.
  7. Those gloves are sick :) Definitely like the Calgary colors!
  8. Sorry about the loss of your grandfather; my thoughts go out to you and your family. The tattoo looks great and is definitely a fitting tribute to your grandfather; really like that you had the artist include Swilcan Bridge in the design of your tattoo.
  9. My latest purchase :D Very nice pick up Dupes!!! Even though I'm a Sharks fan, those are some sick pants and gloves!!!
  10. two shops in PA. http://www.blackstonesport.com/fbv_where.cfm#Pennsylvania SouthPaw, the feel is different, so i suppose if you're just figuring out the game, you might as well give it a try now before you get used to ROH. its not necessarily meant for "experts" but, just like anything else, the better you are at the activity, the more likely you are to notice an impact. and use it to improve your game. Shotty, Thanks for the info and advice regarding the FBV! Since I'm using a 1/2" cut right now, I'm deciding on going with the 100/50. There is a shop in my area that is authorized to do the work and I've heard a lot of good things about the shop. Aloha, SouthpawTRK
  11. My skates are due for a sharpening (I just learned how to skate about 4-5 months ago) and I was wondering if the Flat Bottom V would be beneficial to a beginner? I was not sure if the FBV was more for advanced skaters and not designed for beginners? Thanks in advance for the help!
  12. I am a fan of Social Distortion as well. Hearing "Prison Bound" however many years ago was all it took for me. I included "Ball And Chain" in my wedding reception music mix as well. Live At The Roxy is such a great live representation of their style and energy and I think I have four of their studio albums. Really good sort of old 50's rock and roll style almost with a near punk attitude. Big sound from that Gibson or Les Paul guitar the frontman plays and the supporting musicians throughout the band's history includes a list longer than Spinal Tap's I saw Social Distortion at this little club in Santa Barbara back around 1990 and was definitely a very cool show! Mike was playing a pumpkin orange Gretsch hollowbody; an amazing night of good music and one sick guitar!
  13. Here are some of my favorite bands (past/present): The Muffs The Reverend Horton Heat Samhain Swingin' Utters Social Distortion The Faction Los Olvidados Supersuckers Cadillac Tramps
