  1. What's the general consensus if a player is at a stick and puck session and declines an invitation to scrimmage with other players at the same session?
  2. Nice collection of sticks and gloves! Definitely like the Warrior gloves in the Sharks colors and those crazy toe curves on those Eastons.
  3. Those gloves are sick :) Definitely like the Calgary colors!
  4. My latest purchase :D Very nice pick up Dupes!!! Even though I'm a Sharks fan, those are some sick pants and gloves!!!
  5. two shops in PA. http://www.blackstonesport.com/fbv_where.cfm#Pennsylvania SouthPaw, the feel is different, so i suppose if you're just figuring out the game, you might as well give it a try now before you get used to ROH. its not necessarily meant for "experts" but, just like anything else, the better you are at the activity, the more likely you are to notice an impact. and use it to improve your game. Shotty, Thanks for the info and advice regarding the FBV! Since I'm using a 1/2" cut right now, I'm deciding on going with the 100/50. There is a shop in my area that is authorized to do the work and I've heard a lot of good things about the shop. Aloha, SouthpawTRK
  6. My skates are due for a sharpening (I just learned how to skate about 4-5 months ago) and I was wondering if the Flat Bottom V would be beneficial to a beginner? I was not sure if the FBV was more for advanced skaters and not designed for beginners? Thanks in advance for the help!
  7. I am a fan of Social Distortion as well. Hearing "Prison Bound" however many years ago was all it took for me. I included "Ball And Chain" in my wedding reception music mix as well. Live At The Roxy is such a great live representation of their style and energy and I think I have four of their studio albums. Really good sort of old 50's rock and roll style almost with a near punk attitude. Big sound from that Gibson or Les Paul guitar the frontman plays and the supporting musicians throughout the band's history includes a list longer than Spinal Tap's I saw Social Distortion at this little club in Santa Barbara back around 1990 and was definitely a very cool show! Mike was playing a pumpkin orange Gretsch hollowbody; an amazing night of good music and one sick guitar!
  8. Here are some of my favorite bands (past/present): The Muffs The Reverend Horton Heat Samhain Swingin' Utters Social Distortion The Faction Los Olvidados Supersuckers Cadillac Tramps
