I like the new plastic bumpers! I guess it depends on what surface you play on! I play on smooth concrete surface, so the the plastic bumpers are more durable than the older kevlar bumpers. Also which bumpers do you have on you 9500? Cause on my first prototype pair of 10ks they had a softer smooth plastic bumper and that did rip up, but on my new 10k they have a much more durable thicker plastic bumper, which seems to be holding up very well! The 10k is an amazing skate! IMO the best skate mission has EVER put out! So stiff, responsive and comfy!

Sassmasta, remember you had early samples....The material on your skates isn't even close to what we used on production....Much different....

The 80mm is just a print on the wheel.....the setup is still the same 72/80

Sass, I do believe in your post you admitted they were early release versions, and that they may have changed for the final retail version. I think you covered yourself sufficiently lol.

I love it how they cite play it again sports as an authorized dealer, when none of my local PIAS have ANY Mission gear, let alone hockey equipment. All of 'em around here are all soccer/lacrosse/football.

Grr.

Justin I have two questions.

The actual school bag, is it really the same size as one, maybe a little bigger? Cause I would love to have it, but I would have to order it offline, since no one has it by me.

And how could I get ahold of your t-shirts, those tees are the hardest things to come by. I love them all this year. And would really love to get my hands on some.

The school bag is just a normal backpack that you could use to go to school....

Well I've done it...

Ordered a pair of 10,000's.

I haven't had proper roller boots for so so long, always converted ice boots.

I think Justin made a point about how commited Mission are to roller and the grass roots investment they make and it swung my decision.

....And my 8k's have been killin' my feet for the last 2 months!!

Hope I'm not disappointed cos they do look the business.

I am sure you will be very surprised at the build quality of these skates...They are awesome...As a side note, you definitely want to heat fit these if possible...Otherwise it may take some time to break them in....

Also, if you like a lot of foward flex, skip the top eyelet...It is what I have been doing on my skates for the last 10 years.....

Justin - Now that the lacing system is back to normal, I'm returning to Mission.

If I like a lot of forward flex, (aside from skipping the top eyelet - I do that too) would you recommend the 9500 over the 10000?

I like the upgrades in the 10000 but I find that too much stiffness sometimes leads to lace bite.

Thanks a lot in advance...

You could go with either...They are very similar in terms of internal stiffeners.
