Just try to use it as much as possible before you post a review. Try to build an unbiased opinion on it and find positive and negative things about the shaft. The 30 days rule is just a kind of "safeguard" to prevent the initial giddiness that most people get with new equipment. If it takes you more than 30 days to build an unbiased view then please do that as it will be that much more valuable to the board.

Hockey shop says their tapered innovative shafts are 48" in length and 360 grams when hockeyoutlet.com tapered innovative shafts are 51" in length and 315 grams ???!!! Whos right and whos wrong ???

previously, the hockey shop only had intermediate taper shafts which were 48inches. they called them senior but they were actually intermediate. the real senior tapers are 51 inches. so the hockey outlet was right and the hockey shop was giving out wrong info. however, last night apparently they got in a shipment of the real seniors (51 inch)

ultra-lite and synergy have the same handle right ?? is that the same as the innovative shaft ?? I am just worried if i order this shaft its going to be too boxy and hurt my hands.

its kind of hard to see from the picture. How would you personally rate the shape of the shaft ?? In comparable to the Easton Synergy ??

ALSO is this the new innovative 1100 that hockey skate outlet has or is the old style 1100 ??

The 1100 hasn't changed in the last few years except for graphics.

I just used this shaft after it arrived yesterday. I coupled it with a kovalev normal hosel blade. I thought the shaft was pretty great during the game but the butt-end came a little loose. Seemed like the flex point was quite low but gave great snap to the release. After the game i removed the tape over the butt end and end of shaft and noticed that there is red paint and an inno logo underneath the black over coating that peeled away. I got the 260 flex but I also have a novius 260 mogilny OPS and it is way stiffer than this fedorov shaft. I can see why it flexes as much as it does in the picture on the innovativehockey.com site. I'm wondering if these shafts are some kind of paint overs???!!!! I'll post more comments on sunday as to the performance of this shaft but I'm not sure if this is an 1100 or not. I have never seen an 1100 up close but I'm a little surprised to see a logo stashed underneath some black paint.

I'll try to post a picture of this paint black over red paint. Anyone else who bought this shaft have red paint underneath?

I have a few small chips on mine and it's red underneath, but it doesn't feel like another coating of paint. It feels like uncoated composite. I don't have enough missing to be sure, but it feels rough if I run my fingernail over it. What color are naked Inno shafts normally?
