flashgordon 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 Goalie Heaven is a store. It's Toronto Hockey Repair (in Toronto, no surpise). I live in Toronto, so when I've won stuff from them on ebay, I just go and get it!

jjtt99 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 No reserve means the person who set the auction up will sell the item for the highest price submitted. When someone puts a reserve on it, that means behind the scenes they told eBay only to sell the item of bids get up to a certain minimum. The unfortunate part about reserve auctions is the bidder doesn't know what reserve amount is.For example, say I'm selling a golden hockey puck. I can start bidding at $10 and set the reserve for $50. By the end of the auction if the highest bid is lower than $50, then the item doesn't sell.Clear as mud?JJ
Rustybender 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 It cost around $20 USD to ship a pair of skates to Nebraska. Not cheap, but not really out of line either.

New...???? I get them confused with thegoaliecrease sometimes, but I bought some (player) gloves from the crease and it cost me something like $30 USD to be sent to the States (I'd asked for a quote, got it - was told it was in CAD, and turned out to be USD and higher than quoted).
