I just got back from Perani's for some odds and ends, and while I am there I grab a 7K to check out since I never saw one in person. $210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have got to be sh*&ing me!! This is just getting WAY out of hand. Yeh, it was a nice OPS and all, but not almost $100 more than say a XN10 or a Synergy. Where are people coming up with this kind of loot for ONE stick? Sorry, just had to vent!!!!!!!!!! :( :o

no thats the true price.Some store on Ebay was trying to sell me one for $239.99 USD plus shipping,I said to them you got to be kidding me.then they sent me an email saying they would sell them for $205 including shipping,but ill just wait till next season when my hs team gives us $100 stick money to buy one from my LHS

if you look around, I'm sure you can find it for less. I can't list my price but it is WAY lower than what you say. I'm just a small LHS. Of course, I don't rip off my customers or take advantage of a new product.

I like buying sticks just as much as the next modsquad stick addict,but $210 is insanity. Who wants to spend over 200 clams for a stick ? I guess there are some that will,but that just seems like a waste{there are so many more things A person could buy with that scratch}. My limit for a stick is $150 and I rarely reach that

Whats the deal, no one flipped when the Stealth came out at that price. LHS around here had the Stealths going from $200-$220 when they first came out. I totally agree with the way too much for a single stick that WILL break.

Actually there was a fair bit of an uprise when the Stealth was selling at $210, but most who wanted one looked for other routes. Either on-line, through the EMB, ProStock or on the board. The V130 also took a quick hit, but I was under the impression they took that off shelves fairly quickly and I haven't heard mention of anyone buying one recently.

The V130's took the hit for the fact that the blade fell apart like hell. It happened to my friend. I warned him about it, and sure enough 2 games later, (and I quote) "Son of the whore I bang on thursday's, Dan you were right, this thing fell apart!"

Like I have said before the hockey companies are reaching the pain price point with their sticks.

Be patient you can get that stuff MUCH cheaper on ebay.

IMO, not related much, the 7k has pillars inside the blade and the carbon wrap goes all the way around, instead of sandwiched like the V130. I don't think the 7k will delaminate like the 130. The 7k seems balanced more too.

Oh yea, none of the 7ks (or 5ks for that matter have broke yet, so they are way ahead of the 1 game/shift delamination record set by the 130. However, I believe the redesigned 130 will be improved, so don't count it out altogether.

My LHS East West Hockey has them for $200. Still about 2x what I am willing to pay for a stick.
