Old Synergy for an SL or ST?

Recommended Posts

I was talking to my co-employee last night in the shop and he said with the discount we get and all the sales on the "old" 04' Synergy's (regular, Grip, Si-core) we could buy one of them for cheap use it for a while then send it back and get an SL or ST at the price of a marked down synergy because they are no longer manufactured. I know people were getting them a while back for returned broken Drury's because Drury was exctinct out of Synergy when they started up the new SL's and ST's. But does this sound like an idea?

hopefully you'll get the second batch, its not that theyre not durable, just paint chips and what not. i bet you could request a ST if you really wanted to. the easton girls are fun to flirt with on the telephone, and theyre from salt lake city too

We had neighbours like that and I agree. Either they conform to their vile ways or they go against them and rebel. This family had the straight-A do-gooder and the girl who got knocked up fresh outta high-school.

I dunno if they'll give you a replacement w/o a reciept.

The three kids who I've seen on the ice with them in the last two weeks didn't get more than a few days out of theirs.

woody you have the second batch that came out, first batch chipped, second batch was fixed

No, i have a first batch one. I wasn't talking bout the paint, i was talking about the actual durability. My paint came all the way off in about 7 ice times.

haha, nice, i dont get it man, people ask if the stick is durable, yes it is, but the paint falls off. the paint doesnt mean that the stick is broken or you wont get a good shot, just a cosmetic thing

Yea, its definetely a hot stick. I couldnt care less about if the paint comes off or not. I don't know how Chadd has seen that many break, all the ones i've seen around here are tankshows.

Yeah I know quite a few people that have them. Two of my friends each got one about two months ago, and besides the paint chipping to hell, after two months of use,(2-3 games a week) they have'nt broken, or chipped, which I think is pretty impressive for an Easton OPS.

Anyone playing at a decent level around here has gone through Stealths, SLs and XXX very rapidly. I have yet to see one last more than 30 days.
