Maybe a stupid question, but is thier anyway to swap a Itech RX-2 Replacement shield to a Itech HS22 Pro Wave Half shield on a Itech FX-50 Cage

Anything can be jury rigged but it wont look pretty or be certified. I've seen folks come in with MAJOR "Mcgiver" jobs on face shields and visors.

Still, I compared the two sheilds this morning, the HS22 is wider where it would slide in to the FX-50, so that would have to be trimmed about 1/2 inch with a dremel. After you go it to slide in, then you would have to figure a way to attach it. IMO, not really worth the effort.

Square peg, round hole. That is unless you're prepared to do some major modifications, then I would question the strength of the whole thing when you're done.

I wouldn't even try it as eye protection should be priority.

Why not get a tint shop to tint the one in the sheild? I Know places have the mirrored tint.

The number of people willing to buy(and can legally use) a non certified visor like that for a full combo is not large at all.

One of the more interesting jobs ive seen was this kid took his standard bauer cage and cut out the bars and somehow mounted the visor to the mask. It looked decent, but i wouldnt want to test the protection in a game situation.

If it's the wave look too, the oakley cages are nice, and have a nice visor on them I am thinking about the FX-50 or oakley if I decide on getting a shield.
