Summer Hockey socks?

Is there anyone who makes a thinner, cooler, more breathable or different material hockey sock that would be better for summer use for ice hockey?

I'm thinking like the mesh back the roller guys have with a traditional front, or something strange along those lines.

What about the socks some of the Euro teams use, they look like different material - would anyone know if they are cooler.

Aside from wearing my old ripped up socks, what's the solution for 80 degree arenas? <_<

one of the high skools around me uses a silky material.....if u guys r skating in 80 degree rinks why not just use roller pants?

...and wear a jersey with "slash me" on the back of it.

I'll stick to regular socks before going the roller pants route, besides, I have no girdle.
