AtlantaThrashers01 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 Hey i was just wondering if lightspeeds would fit onto any skates (grafs) and was wondering where i could get a size chart for the lightspeeds. Also are they better or wors then corba nt3000's
blues_91 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 I liked them better than my Cobras, they keep an edge longer. One blade did snap, but the other is fine.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 I never understood, how do they "snap"? Wouldnt they just bend, but how could they in the first place if they are secured by the holders?
pantherfan 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 Some blades are just really brittle like the first 8090 blades i heard there was a problem with them theres a pic on a thread somewhere on here

hockechamp14 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 do you guys kno which is lighter?im thinkin LS are.....i snapped one of my blades from my cobra, i think i hit the post wit my blade and it literally cracked in half.A piece of my LS broke on my V-12's and this is the second time I've had a problem with lightspeeds. I would stay with the cobras unnless you can't stand them for some reason. The lightspeeds are a good deal lighter than the cobras though. The second problem I had was the steel getting loose, and since I tried to loosen it before tightening the blade (the screw adjustment) the holder expanded and I ended up with some problems on that...As for now, can anyone tell me how long my LS will last me if they broke in the spot where I put the red marker in the picture. They completely snapped there and it is now uneven. Thanks.http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-10/843606/brokentuuk.JPG

JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 Solid is stronger than perf.

cobrAA 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2005 I don't think a perf steel would be much lighter than a standard steel....so i wouldn't bother with them...
hockechamp14 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2005 I don't think a perf steel would be much lighter than a standard steel....so i wouldn't bother with them... the only reason to keep the perf steel is because the LS will loosen up if you change the steel. But if it's broken, go with the solid... My perf steel runners got worn down and then when I got solid steel, they started to come loose, and my problems with my lightspeeds came when I had to tighten them myself when the steel fell out during the middle of a tryout...
