Sven 1 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 We had some fun with this:http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/1189/pict01717lp.jpgAbsolutely massive and beautiful is what I can say about the big one. I put the small firecracker on top for size comparison. That is around 8 inches long and 2 inches across. It weighed in at 500 grams! Now thats a big toe... ^_^
LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 I was driving back from Boston and stopped at a friends bbq. The only fireworks I saw were when I was on the road.

whbd18 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 Ya ,fireworks are illegal in CT too. My whole neighborhood had mortors and that stuff. The @sses next door to me were lighting stuff of right in the street in front of their house, and the houses in my area are extremely close together. My mom was pissed this morning when she saw ashes all over her cars. Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 5, 2005 One of my best friends from school has a party at his sisters place in the boonies and they set off about $2k worth of stuff every year. Last time I was up there he had the big mortar shells that are used in larger displays. It's pretty impressive considering he's blind drunk all day and manages not to kill himself. QandA 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2005 I just go to my friends gas station, buy about $200 worth of fireworks, throw a $10 bill on the counter and leave. Cops made me leave in back of my house tho, something to do with 'public nuissance.'
Thockey17 1 Report post Posted July 6, 2005 Its hard to find a good place since the cops are strict here, right? You must have a nice big property or something to light those beauties off.BTW- We had a lot more where that came from. I only buy my stuff from out-of-state. There is a pretty big fireworks warehouse on the PA/NJ border right by the Delaware Water Gap. Thats where most people get they're supplies from around here. Getting the fireworks into the state is very easy, since they dont even check vehicles much anymore.I have a house on the beach in the hamptons, so we went there to light off all of our goodies. We were competing with p-diddy's neighbor for the bragging rights of the best show. The best part of the day was that not one person was hurt.
