Easton Stealth

I love the stealth and the SL. The SL has a bit more of a solid feel in the blade, but the stealth's feel isn't half bad. The only problem in both of these sticks is the lack of durability.

tried my stealth again tonight, i really hate it, ive never really hated a stick but this is terrible, worst feel ever. 5 mins later i was back with my hacked up SL

I didn't like mine either, but I think we're in the minority. I sold it to a guy on the team and he LOVES it.

I will say that the balance of the stick is extraordinary, but beyond that, I don't have anything positive to add.

Any one that has had an XN10 and stealth how did the 2 compare? They both seem to big "shooting" sticks, but which one felt like it put more behind your shots?

I've used both. I have found the XN10 to be the best shooters stick that I have ever tried (check out my review on the product section). Only thing I'd complain about on the XN10 is that the blade has fatiqued over time. But, it should be noted that the one I have used thus far is one of the test mules, so this might have been fixed in the production model (I have one (although it too is a pro return), just haven't used it yet).

Regardless, hands down (for me and my style at least) the XN10 was far, far better than what I got using the Stealth.

I like differnt things about both.....But yes I do like my stealth better...

The adrenaline had great feel...It was amazing, but I was never a fan of the Xn10 material shooting wise...If I had a better curve and a bit stiffer flex, I may have liked it more...The stealth is great because I can get so much pop on my shots, but the feel isnt that great.the stealth is also lighter..It really depends on what your looking for

so which stick is more durable the xn10 or the stealth

From what i've seen so far, they are both hit and miss. The XN10 has also been out much longer.

Difference between Stealth and SL.

-SL has CNT Blade construction, not a true OPS

-Stealth is true OPS and a bit lighter

-SL's shaft walls aren't as thin as stealths resulting in better durability in the shaft than the Stealth.(This is from personal experience with the 2 sticks)

Whats the big deal about a "true one" anyway. The only non-fused sticks i've used is the inno true 1/Vapor XXX and both sucked.

Its just like a stick having the longest taper, something else consumers eat up.

stralth is not a true ops for the last time

It's funny how many shops tell people that it is a true OPS. Of course they all claim that's what the rep told them.

How is it not a true OPS? Seems like it. as it doesn't seem to be fused or have a fuse point.

It's fused, its a new fusing process, higher up and possibly longer. Not a true OPS though.

But the stealth is hollow all the way down until it reaches the blade...I see no fuse point on my stealth.

Stealth Construction

If I understand that thread correctly, the stealth shaft is inserted into the stealth blade, like the way a bic pen is inserted into its cap.

There are some nice cutaway photos of different sticks in the links of that thread.

Okay, I guess I understand. It's just fuse at the blade rather that up the shaft more allowing for a lower kickpoint or what? From easton's pictures of TPS, Vector, then stealth inside pics, it appeared the stealth was a true OPS.

If I understand the pictures correctly  , the stealth blade has a hosel that wraps over the stealth shaft. So that's why the stealth seems to flare out at the bottom, and why it is hollow all the way down. The fuse is still on the shaft somewhere, but there is nothing inside at the fuse point.

In the synergy, response, etc., their blades have a tenon that goes into the shaft, so there is tenon material and foam inside at the fust point.

If I understand correctly...
