kingjames23rulz 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 I am going to a big hockey sale this week. ( Peranis in Lakeland for those in Michigan) I am looking for new skates..preferably Flexlite 12's. Also, i want a stealth but i got to pay $100 for skates ( cause my dad does not want to pay that much so i would pay the difference between flexlite 12s and 10s) if i get the stealth that would leave me with under $20. What are your opinions?? Get flexlite 10s and pay $0 get stealth and have quite a few $ left, or get flexltie 12s pay $100 and get stealth and have very little $. IS there that big of a difference between Flexlite 10's and 12's for me ( 13 tears old and knowlegable about hockey and play AAA so i prolly could tell difference) Thanks for all your help. hockechamp14 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the responce XN10's are as light as the stealths, AND a lot of people say they shoot better.
whbd18 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 ^Ive found that some xn10s are lighter then the stealth and others are as heavy as a regular synergy.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 ^Ive found that some xn10s are lighter then the stealth and others are as heavy as a regular synergy. The only heavy "XN10"s I've seen were pro stocks that were actually R+'s with an XN10 paint job.
whbd18 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 ^Chadd,is there anyway to tell if I have one of those.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 ^Chadd,is there anyway to tell if I have one of those. If it's heavier and a slightly different shape, it's probably an R+

Edge 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 I personally would try to get the best skates possible rather than the best stick possible. Save some cash and get a lower priced OPS. Some are as good if not better than the stealth imo. Possibly an SL? XXX? Both perform better than the stealth to me and are cheaper than it. Although, you can only judge performance by YOUR expectations of a stick.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 Cant you feel the aramid graphite as well? I don't recall, I gave mine away a long time ago. When they chipped they were a pinkish color underneath if I remember correctly.

The XN10 also costs less but offers the same benefits in most people's opinions over the stealth, and also seems to be more durable. In many people's opinions it is a better deal, and he seems like he was looking to save money.
