Ok Ive seen this show a few times and each time I see it, it bugs me to how they do it. I know its not really and they do call them illusions but how to you make someone float without any ropes? Like how is that a illusion!

Anyways what are your thoughts on this show or others like it like David Blaine. I dont really like it but its so weird like picking a card of the floor using "magic".

He is crazy. Did you see the deja view one? For the ones that havent he takes to couples in a hallway lines them up 2-2 and ask one couple to think of an experience of dejaview really hard, then all of sudden the other couple is at the end of the hall way! And for those of you who havent seen the fire one. He lights him self on fire for 45 srconds with no head or hand protection than he jumps on this board and 2 guys come in with fire extiguishers and put him out. Then one of the guy lifts his fireproof mask and its him! It is sick.

Im pritty sure the david blaine one where he floats is fake, they never show it at a good angle, it just makes him look like he floating. He has some pritty sick card tricks tho, and when he bites the quarter in half, that blows my mind.

Even if floating was fake, I highly doubt it is though, He still is a-m-a-z-i-n-g no question.

I also know how to do the blaine levitation,but I find it looks best if your on grass.

I find that a dark corner with dark shoes works pretty well and will usually allow you to get higher than if you had a colour mismatch between your shoes and your surroundings.

Its really hard to explain. Basically you put yourself at a diagonal to the person your levitating for. Lift the shoe closes to them up about 8 inches and then go up on you toes on the back foot, because of there angle they cant see your toes but they can see your heel,thus the illusion of floating. A little exaguration like david blaine is good too.

It's mind over matter. We all have the powers, just a matter of the willingness to dig deep down and learn to control them or not. Moving objects really isn't all that big, at least for me anymore, anyone who is telekinetic can do it once they are able to control the powers. And if you can move objects, why not move yourself or another person? There's stories of Buddhism being tied to levitation in some way, and tales of Buddhist monks being able to meditate and levitate.
