Crosby wearing number 12 there, hmmm i wonder if thats what he'll wear during the season.

Mario wasn't wearing 66 in practice either. He was wearing 16.

Most likely a training camp numbering system. I remember hearing that numbers under 50 during Rangers training camp were for guys slated for the NHL team and over 50 for guys slated to go to the minors. This was why Kasparaitis changed from 72 to 6...I think.

The kid has game. I picked him for my fantasy team. We'll see if that pays off or not.

I took him with the last pick in one league, just in case.

I've seen him go in the first round in one of my drafts, way too high hopes some people have for him.

I can see picking him up late building up hype and trading him. I remember doing that with Bure a couple years ago. I think I got Daze, Palfy and Lidstrom for Cheli and Bure.

First draft I did I picked him, Ryan Malone, and Rick Jackman up with my three last picks in a pretty big league. Had to put the homer hat on late.

Am I still a homer if I'm not actually from Pittsburgh? HMMMM!

I love that hard cut/spin move behind the net. Nice goal.

The move behind the net was better than the goal itself.

Since Bure was mentioned in this thread... The turn behind the net had bure's trademark turn edge control all over it... Great stuff! :)

Go Crosby! Hockey needs more of this (excitement)!
