I stoped by Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, MI today. There were 2 Warrior Pro sticks available. I know one was Shanahan. I can't remember who the other belonged to. I'm thinking it may have been Holmstrom.

I didn't pay much attention to them, I was checking out a Lidstrom Synergy. Figured I'd drop the info for anyone else in the area that may want to go scope the stick out.

Warrior has been on the market for a bit now but they recently got bought out by New Balance, yes New Balance. And guess who New Balance also bought out? Innovative hockey.  So New Balance owns Innovative and Warrior hockey, the sticks you see in the NHL these days are just Innovative one-pieces with Warrior graphics.  Innovative also manufactures most one-pieces for other leading hockey companies, they produce more than half of the one pieces on the market.

Yup, just got around to reading that article in the Hockey Business News.

Shanny is sporting the Warriors too, according to their photo.

So if Holmes and Co are marketing and business manager dudes, then how are they gonna effect that actual development of new stick technology? Wouldn't it have been better to get the scientists and engineers, and not the pencil pushers?

If they are just marketing gurus, I could totally see Warrior simply using Inno technology and just slapping Warrior graphics on the stuff. Where the Easton, ehem, Holmes and Co guys will help is getting brand recognition.

What does Shanny's pro curve look like, and what flex does he use?

His wood blades were a small mid curve, slightly open.

But nah, the attitude that is coming from them is that they made Easton what it is...we'll see what happens

What is the red one I saw Kovalchuk use a few times?

Red paint job is the "Starskie" or however they decide to spell it as mentioned in the other two topics.

Where does that fit in with the Dolomite and Mack Daddy? I assume they are all top end
