im watching it too, they cant confirm what happened but they said that a witness said he took a puck in the throat , like you said , they brought an ambulance but he didnt ride in it , they were giving him cpr and took him in the locker room , thats all that i know right now

I started listening to the online radio feed while he was down and they didn't have any idea of what happened. They did say the team removed all media from the area around the bench and locker room.

Scary, reminds me of when Chris Pronger took a puck to the heart, collapsed got up, and fell back down again. Hope he'll be alright.

they just said that the puck wasn't around him and they had a replay but it was an overhead view so it was really hard to tell what happened but they this it was a stick blade or a part of a stick that may have caught him in the throat. they just announced that he was taken to the hospital and that he is breathing but still unconcience(sp?)

Apperantly they are carrying the rest of the 1st period onto the 2nd. He has Pilar-ish heart problems apperantly (not sure of the name).

That's the diagnosis...or they knew he was playing with that condition?

He has had irregular heartbeats before (2002-2003). I think Zholtok had the same problem diagnosed too.

He's at home now...and on IR....sidelined Indefinately. They don't know when (or if) he'll play again (that is as recently as tonight on TSN SportsCenter).
