i thought the rangers picked it up in the third. following jagr's lead; he was taking the puck hard to the net on more than a couple rushes. ....its always fun watching ovechkin of course too.

The face he made after the goal was almost as good as the goal. "I'm the man. Jagr, who?" Lundq and Kolzig made some great saves, but then neither team is very deep on talent past the first four shooters.

Iy just goes to show how much talent the "big, slow" guys actually have. That's a hell of risk though. If he doesn't score he's going to look like an ass for trying it.

It looked like Hollweg shot 5th or 6th for NYR...crazy..guy gets like 7 min of ice time a game and is that high up in the rotation

JD mentioned that the Ranger goalies said he's good at breakaways in practice. He made a couple of nice moves before losing the puck.

i couldnt believe it when i saw marek malik pull that move off and i think its just as impressive that strudwick kept the shootout going for the rangers
