I see a lot of response +'s and adrenalines but I don't seem to be seeing that many xn10's out there

Adrenaline and Adrenaline Control have better feel.

Back on topic:

It seems like there is far more variety than ever before. If it's more models from the major manufacturers, more customization or more smaller manufacturers or, most likely, a combination of the three that creates that perception.

Just looking at the Rangers roster, I've found that 3 use wood (Rucinsky, Nylander, Niemanen) and 2 use 2-piece (Malik, Poti), all the rest use OPS.

It's not a conclusive scientific study, but I'm sure it's indicative of OPS usage around the league.

I would gather to say OPS usage is around 70-75%, with 2-piece getting the larger remaining % over wood.

The manufacturers probably have an exact amount. To them it's all numbers...sales numbers.

I didn't get a good look at Malik's stick last night (vs the Blues) but previous to last night he had been using a Koho shaft with a white Reebok blade.
