Comp. Blade with best feel

Recommended Posts

C'mon Kovy! You've been here forever.

Anyhow, I thought the general consensus were Inno blades. So maybe the new Warrior stuff or anything Inno manufactured. B)

I personally couldn't tell you. Neither wood nor graphite can help my stone hands.

Its been a while since weve talkaed about this though....My choices are: Endure blade, Si-core z-carb, Vapor X,

I wish I could get my hands on one of those mission blades lol

I like my X blade. Feels similar to my Inno Fedorov (retail) I had awhile back. Good stiffness, good dampening, lively.

Don't know bout the Endure, but something about that rubber stuff on top just puts me the wrong way. I dunno. I'm sure the blade is very similar to the X though other than that rubber stuff.

I like Z carbon blades...HATED the Sicores though. I think it took away feeling rather than adding to it.

I usually use a Si Core Z-Carb for HS hockey when I don't get many shots and need to be confident in where the puck is on my stick, passes never bounce either. If you aren't concerned with having a super hot blade face than try and pick up a cheap Si Core blade. That or Inno, never had a bad experience with one of their products.

i love my inno blade its has a great feel. Does anyone know the difference between the inno blade on the true1 which has that strange carbon pattern and the normal inno blade on the 1100?

Easton SI core blade Forsburg curve 5 lie, around 50 bucks. Great curve for slapshots I can control the height real well. Good curve and thin blade easy to backhand and treamendus feel. My opinion of course.

I like Bauer or Inno blades for feel. The blade on my Vapor XXX Lite has much better feel than any of my Easton blades. When I used Si-Core blades, it seemed like it was harder to feel the puck on the blade, but the Si-Core blade did make it easier to catch hard passes.

Also, when I used Si-Core blades in my Synthesis it seemed like I broke them faster than the regular silver Synthesis blades.

Si-cores feel is all in your head, the silicon in the blade is so small it does nothing at all. Looks like a stick of double mint gum.

Also, the silicone inserts are in the top part of the blade, which reduces the feel since the puck is ussually in contact with the bottom part.

Back in the corebeam days I think It was somone took there blade apart and found I belive a green thing that looked like stick of gum. And that was the only silicon found in there. My friend also took apart his Si-core grip and found it too

Again my opinion! purchased them because they were on sale did'nt buy for the so called technology. I don't use claims to purchase my equipment. I did'nt even know their was silicon in the blade or what si-core even meant. ("All in my head")thats all that matters.

L-2's are garbage

I love the dolomite blade, i liked it better than the easton cuz i use the draper from warrior which is a 5 lie. The Easton sakic is a 5.5, it made a difference for me

Though not in feel.

Just seems silly to prefer a company's blades and how they feel simply because of their lie; it's not pertinent. That said, I'd still go with an Inno blade over Easton's.

Well the only Dolo blade I had was a Smyth and I didn't like it because it wasn't the Kovalchuk I thought it'd be. That and the lie was off, but going with past history I'd still take Inno's feel/durability over Easton's.
