iPod problem

Recommended Posts

So my sister and I got iPod Nanos for Christmas, and it turns out that mine works fine. But my sister's doesn't. When she tries to logon to iTunes, it comes back with an error saying that there is indeed a problem. So her iPod isn't working, and mine is. She's pissed. Can anyone help me out?

Not trying to threadjack, but no sense in creating a whole never iPod thread.

Is it possible to take songs off my old iPod and put them on my computer? I got a new iPod for Christmas and really don't want to have to rip 100 CDs onto my computer if there is an easier way.

30 gig video= $300, 7500 songs

Nano 4 gig= $249, 1000 songs

Its not even close. Plus I feel like I could break the Nano by just closing my hand on it too hard.

So the video is really better value. Considering my playlist is 3000+ songs.

Also a quick question about video, Any video i download off my computer i can put on the iPod and watch it?

The only pros of the Nano are size and the fact that it's a flash drive, but I loves me some black video iPod and I have armor for it anyway.

Yes but you have to convert it into a format the iPod understands. I have coverted the first disc of simpsons season 7 using dvd decrypter and videora ipod converter.

Not sure if this is the solution, but it might be that the system is getting your itunes mixed up with your sisters. Sometimes when i try to delete a program on my cpu, it says that anothher system is using the program. What could simply prove my idea wrong, is did you download your itunes first or your sisters first? I wouldnt be suprised if the computer only lets one itunes program on it and the first to be downloaded is it.

I think mini is 2-3 hours to 80% then another hour to 100%.

I've heard its one hour to 80% and 3 more hours for a 100% but mine doesn't seem to charge that well.

Not sure, all my simpsons have worked but I have heard stories where some work and some dont. The restrictions are tight and it doesnt seem to like H.124 format (something like that). Did you follow the conversion guide on the videora website. Thats what I used and it worked.
