Hah, there should be the "we all wish we had as much hype or 1/100th the talent of this kid so we'll just knock him" forum.

It's funny that all the same people who were destroying ovechkin last year when he was the cocky whiney #1 pick in the WJC, are doing the same with crosby now.

Now we know for sure: Sid has guts and his teammates are gutless. The players might want to think about the first game they play without Sid in the lineup. If they think its bad now with him, it will be ten times worse without him.

yeah seriously. id love to see andre roy play on a line with sid for a while. roy actually has some skills. its a shame he doesnt play more.

Since Roy came back from the orbital fracture they don't really want him scrapping because it could end up really serious. And since that's what the team's plan for him is, he hasn't played a lot.

I feel sorry for sid getting all that abuse but why haven't the pens been protecting him on ice? Is he that much of a brat that his teamates don't care to look after him?

If he is, then he brought some of it on himself.

They pretty much have their, although really shady and borderline illegal, arena package in the works for Pittsburgh.

All of it assuming they get a gift from the State. They wouldn't be in the new building in pittsburgh before the 08-09 season at the absolute earliest, probably 09-10.

I'd like Cuban as an owner because it would mean the team wouldn't be even further in bumble-F in KC or Portland, but it won't help the country club atmosphere at all.

And I think he'd spoil the Pens even more because he's a Pittsburgh boy and grew up a fan, they wouldn't just be a toy like the Mavs are.

He was planning on submitting a bid to bring them out of bankruptcy until the NHL told him they would only approve Mario as an owner.
