Wife's getting flowers and dinner. I always get carnations w/1 red rose in the center. The carnations last 3 times as long as roses.

For the food it's either surf and turf, or a nice Chicken Marsala.

It really wasnt that much, a friend of mine works at valentino, so I got a great deal on the dress. And I got the shoes and the bag from Saks. The place we are going for valentines day is very formal, so she needs the stuff nebody. And mack, she dosent have to put out, she wants to.

Dinner at a nice place + champagne + jacuzzi + chocolate covered strawberries + some nice new lingerie for her = yeeeah. I think at my age it's more about putting the thought in to do something nice rather than seeing how much cash you can drop on somebody and hand it to em in a box.

Does anyone else thing that guys wearing pink is a bit much. My wife wants to get me pink shirts and stuff and I just won't do it. I just think pink was meant for skimpy lingerie that only stays on for a moment, underwear and for girls clothes.

for men its kinda weird, on boys its ok

Not a big fan of pink, but I'm colour blind and only have it in some ties. Other than looking fey, it's just an annoyance having to run stuff thru the wife to make sure I'm not a big mess of colours when I go to work.

I wear pink from time to time. Mostly dress shirts, boxers, etc. pink stands out and looks good sometimes. For V-Day I'm having flowers sent to her school and a nice italian dinner for two. Here's an idea that i did a year ago. I gave her 14 cards. sounds lame, but I gave her the deuce - ace of hearts and wrote a meaning for each of them as i gave them to her. I would write really lovey dovey stuff that actually took alot of time and effort. It took some writing but it's a cheap and thoughtful gift for her. Do this and your n like flint. Just thought I'd pass on my romantic expertise.
