Graf Switzerland

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to get a pair of Swiss made Grafs? I was at the Graf AG website and a pair of Graf 505s really stood out. Im in MN by the way.

What are the differences in quality between Graf Canada and Graf Switzerland? I noticed some style differences but that is about it mainly. How much more expensive?

Swiss Grafs are one of the best skates made.

I don't really know the differences as I don't have any experience with Canadian Grafs, but I can assure you Swiss Grafs are top notch quality, I never heard of anybody having the slightest problem with them. They also have a very good customer service. I can ask for the price, but you'd have to tell me the exact model you want. Also, customizations are possible, I saw a lot of really fancy customs over here, even a skate that had a golden trim (like Great Whites in gold, so to speak).

That would be a "yes." Graf Canada would probably not custom order a skate for a LHS from Switzerland when they have the factory in Calgary to build the boot. Even if they said yes, the time of production from Switzerland and shipping to Calgary to LHS is $ and time. Graf Canada would have to charge the LHS $$$, so imagine your price! I guess you'll have to take a trip to Switzerland! And that still sounds like a good idea to get the skates and have some fun.

Graf Canada customer service is terrible and quality control isn't as good as it used to be. They are very slow. I have been waiting for a pair of warranty replacement blades for my G5s since the first week of November, and I have no idea when I will be getting them. I have been a Graf customer for the last 7 years, but for my next pair of skates I will probably buy a different brand. It is a shame that Graf Canada has such crappy service because I really like their skates. Too bad Graf Canada can't have the service and quality of Graf Switzerland.

I have a couple questions about swiss graf's.

1) Do they fit the same way canadian ones do?

2) Which pair fits the most like the 8090?

3) In switzerland, to get great whites do you have to get them custom? or do some places carry them stock?

4) My step dad sometimes does buisness in switzerland. Does the Graf factory give tours, and do they sell skates there?

Hell, if I were you, I'd definitely find out. I might hit up the factory after Oktoberfest next Sept. Shouldnt be too far of a drive. I'll have to find a way to notify them ahead of time. I could just probably buy the same damn skate at a shop in Germany too. Since I've seen them advertised on German hockey web sites.
