That'll help because you can determine everything you need to know to find which clubs best suit you.If that isn't an option though..You sound pretty casual about golf so probably an older years Ping, maybe a G2, i3+, something with a wide sole. Cally Big Bertha's are pretty forgiving irons. Mizuno makes nice irons as well. Stuff like Jazz, lower-end Wilson, Ram, etc are also good makers of mid-range irons. I'd stray away from Titleist clubs in general, they're the best IMO if you are a player but otherwise I wouldn't start out on them. Buut, you really should get fitted... My dad got a set of Titleist DCI off ebay for $200 shipped to Canada, and believe me, they are awesome! Ebay is defiantly a place to look, but you may want to head into a local golf shop first to see clubs if you go the Ebay route. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 I am a casual golfer, so I don't really need brand names, I did buy clones though, from http://www.pinemeadowgolf.com/I got a set of the callaway x-16 clones, and a clone of the taylor made monza putter, along with a 60 degree wedge and a clone of the nike driver.Whole set cost me about $300, including shipping. They custom build them, so I had my wedge made 1 inch longer, and had a stiff shaft put in the driver.
