I heard on the local news in AZ during the game last night that Wayne is going to announce his comeback and become player coach for the Coyotes.

Is this TRUE or is it an April fools joke?

Ya I guess your right it could go one of two ways. Great or Aweful. They did interview some of the palyers about it and even discussed the line he would be on. ???? I guess we'll see come tomorrow.

They had a similar rumour a few years ago and he said no, so I don't see why it would be any different now. He wouldn't be able to play this season anyways as once he signs a contract he'd have to go through waivers.

NO WAY is it true. He's too old, he had his years and in the new NHL he couldn't survive. He's got his team and TPS to worry about, plus he went out in the most emmotional, personal way he could and thats something that makes his retirement special.

About as good as MJ playing for the Wizards

I dunno if you're kidding or not. When MJ played for the Wizards even though he was super old, he was still good probably one of the top 10 2 guards in the NBA.

I wouldn't mind if Gretzky came back, but he's an awsome coach. He works the refs soooo hard and uses the F-word more than any coach in the League when his guys take a penalty.
