mack 44 Report post Posted May 3, 2006 Honestly? It sucks now. I watched the first season and up until the last batch of new episodes here I was still watching, then I finally gave into it. The writers/creators honestly have no idea what they want out of this and it shows in the writing because it's all very 'fly by the seat of your pants.' QandA 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2006 Yeah, they got lost, no pun intended. They through in to many curveballs and too many side plots to make it worthwhile. notorious#29 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 I agree Mack, some of the episodes this season could of qualified as a soap opera, especially the one when the Asian chick finds out shes pregnant, not to mention those episodes don't move the story along one bit.I don't know what it's like in the UK, but over here they have played so many damn re-runs, it has turned a lot of people away from the show. Although, the rest of the episodes are new. Since most of season two has already been shown here, couldn't you just download the episodes somewhere? P.S. - Prison Break is better! pantherfan 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Yeh im in to Prison break aswell which has just got up to the bit where he just got burnt in the guards uniform, how far in to it is that in the US/CA?Yeh Lost is really annoyin me now aswell because in every episode there are 6 commercial breaks in an hour episode thats EVERY 10 MINUTES! I watched the last 4-5 episodes of lost and I just can't really get into the story. It lacks excitement and every single episode ive'd watched has had nothing happend till the last 5 minutes where theres some new thing they discover and ends up being something stupid. SMP 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 WHAT WHAT WHAT!What happend!?! lol***Scroll down for SPOILER***Locke let the timer run out and all hell broke loose. Really F-ed up the inside of the bunker. Desmond was there with him... trying to stop Locke... and ended up going down under the floor and 'apparently' activated some sort of self destruct mechanism that blows the bunker up. I say 'apparently' because you never actually see the bunker "go boom", but when all the chaos stops, the 'quarantine' hatch comes falling out of the sky as if a huge explosion threw it up in the air.Sooo... no word on whether Locke, Desmond or Mr. Eko (who was trying to blow up the blast doors w/ TNT to get in and stop Locke) are still alive.And Michael gets confronted about the plan on the way to the Others... pissing everyone off, but Jack presses everyone into continuing on because they'd probably just be killed right there in the jungle... so they keep following Michael. Eventually they come upon a clearing with a tube sticking out of the ground, surrounded by a huge pile of... those bank drivethru cupsule thingies Apparently the people in the "Pearl" were the real experiment as all those logs they were recording and sending out the vacuum tube were ending up there in a big pile, in the middle of nowhere.Well, the Others then shoot everyone with darts and hual them off to a dock somewhere on the island we've never seen, and 'Henry' or whoever he really is... (the dude that was locked up in the vault) comes waltzing out to the main characters and acts like he in fact was the leader of the others (that's the impression I got anyways). They make good on their promise to the bastard Michael and give him a boat with his son and they take off. I was hoping to see it blow up in the distance, but no. Maybe next season!Henry then let's Hurley go and tells him to go back to the survivors and tell them to never come back to this side of the island. Hurley says, "What about my friends?" Henry then proceeds to shoot everyone of them execution style right there... Heh! Just kidding! He tells Hurley that they're going home with them.And that's really about it. There was also a scene at the very end when what looks to be some sort of observation station in the arctic somewhere gets a blip on their screens showing a huge electromagnetic anomally... they then rush to the phone to make a call and Desmond's girlfriend? picks up a phone on the other end and says, "You've found him!" ...or something to that effect. hattrick74 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 bringing back desmond was odd, but when they flashed back in his life and we see libby again, that was crazy. but they main question i had after watching it all was....how did penny (desmonds g/f or wife or fiance) know that desmond was doing that electromagnetic thing? i liked how they answered alot of main questions, like why they crashed, what the computer did etc, but still left questions like who are the others why are they there etc. it answered alot of "how" questions but not the "why" questionsone thing i was confused about was the 2nd guy with desmond on the island, wasnt that that same guy that took off his beard on the dock?
