I picked up some Pro Stock Salo gloves for my brother there were only like 2 pairs of brand new gloves there, the Salos and some Pro Bauer SDP which felt really stiff. KC83 2 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 i got there rite at 8 o clock but i ended up getting a burrows jersey, bourdon jersey, 3 sticks(Stealth Grip, TPS Adrenalane and a xxx lite, a pair of vapor xxx gloves, i ran right to the sticks, and most of them were gone by the time i got there, i picked up like 6 sticks, but half of them were broken, The kesler xxx lite i got was broken right in the middle of the shaft... Almost all right handed sticks were gone, a couple of RBK 6K's were still around - one was a Bieksa. There was a Richard Park Inno 1100 one-piece, but the blade was broken. Couple of Salo TPS Adrenalines but were obviously ridiculously stiff. Never saw any $25 sticks though. Used shafts were $75-80, used one-piece sticks were $100. Best of the left handers left was a RBK 7K or two. (Sedin)Not going next year, unless I can get in extremely early or the Canucks get a bunch of right hand shots. KC83 2 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 i saw a bunch of guys that had BRAND spanking new xxx lites... and the one 90's were 100 i think ?or 125... the stuff i got were in pretty good condition... i wouldn't take anything that was that used... all in all i'm pretty happy with the stuff i got... KC83 2 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 oh and another thingkids should not be allowed into these things... me and my girlfriend were sitting in the line, and my girlfriend went to go look for more RH sticks for me, a kid went up to her and said "if you aren't going to buy any sticks get out of here" then i went to go find this kid, and he was with all his friends, and just started flexing the sticks, throwing them back and forth, and would not take any sticks without names on them... if they had someone like park or ruutu sticks they would just put them back, they HAD to have salo, ohlund, kesler and the "bigger" names on them, i'm going to smash all the little kids in the world really soon...a bunch of kids had a couple salo stealths, and 2 of them tried to flex it... its about 120 flex stick... they couldn't even bend the thing. and he was like its jsut perfect for me... @#$@#$ lets just say i wasn't very happy. Still managed to pick up a Bieska Vector v130, and a Salo stealth grip. I would have to say I am real pleased with the v130. My friend somehow got an adrenaline control (bieska). Dougie8 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 I had two Salo sticks, a stealth and a adrenaline control, I looked at the control and it said xxx stiff, with a 175, is that a 175 flex? I then immediatley put those back cuz they were way to stiff, I ended up getting a Richard Park Dolomite and some Canucks Socks. I saw some guy carrying around a kesler XXX lite, and my heart just starting racing I asked him where he found it and he said some guy gave it too me, then moved his hand and it was broken in the middle. <_< Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
