Edge 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 The lightest stick I have ever felt and trust me I have felt them all!lol the stick felt no lighter than a XXX Lite when I was holding it. That is a pretty good deal on those gloves for the price they are going to sell at.
fedorov#91 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 I dont think the xxx lite feels that lite and those one90 gloves may look like skeletors hands but their comfy as anything

Edge 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 it was a pro model stick and it felt heavier than the retail XXX Lite.
EBondo 242 Report post Posted June 22, 2006 True. Then again, for all I know the stick I had in my hands could have been a repainted XXX because it was a Gagne pro-stock.
suppaman 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2006 considering there's only one crummy picture of the gloves, the palms could be messed upit would just amaze me someone could have those gloves use them only three times then sell them....so either there's something IMO that's messed up, or they stole them from another player and are selling them
Miike 1 Report post Posted June 23, 2006 But the sellers feedback is 174, for 100%...
LoXish 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2006 Or they got a promo/pre-release set and don't like how they feel...People try new equipment all the time and don't like how it feels.
odp 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2006 Don't like the feel of the boxy fingers. Actually prefer the lower models instead. (70, 50)
Cavs019 710 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 Or the gloves just suck, because IMO they do. Same thing with the skates, hence my ebay auction.
shute 4 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 oh man i wish i saw that earlier cause i'm trying to buy those gloves right now but my LHS is selling them for $199 canadian which is a rip off.
LoXish 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 You didn't like them, Cavs?I was at my LHS getting my skates sharpened and saw them on the shelf, tossed them on, I was really impressed... they're a little heavy, but they feel like real GLOVES -- like, work gloves or leather gloves that you would wear... maybe that's because of how tight they fit (which I don't mind) -- but I really enjoyed their feel. Cavs019 710 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 exactly, not hockey gloves. I think "hockey" gloves feel good as is.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 I agree, hockey gloves are supposed to be loose and free fitting (For the most part)
LoXish 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 I think that's a matter of personal preference, personally, I would give them a shot, but I've always used loose gloves and do, as of now, prefer those -- then again, I'm the kind of person that likes my equipment snug -- in every respect, all of my equipment fits tight on me, that's just how I like to feel it.Hockey Gloves aren't "supposed to be loose and free fitting" -- they're supposed to protect you and offer anatomical functions while you play the spot. How they do that, is completely up to consumer and company. In your case, it's "loose and free fitting" -- but for the "fit type" of these gloves, they do offer a lot and feet very good, again, in the "fit type." I found that going up a size in the Quests gave me a bit more room in the glove and longer fingers without having the ridiculously loose fit of other brands' stock gloves in larger sizes. I got a couple pair of prostock Quest 1s on eBay and didn't spend what I would've on customs just to get longer fingers. :) So, those that don't like very tight gloves might find them quite comfortable in a larger size. LoXish 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 Well, I wear Muskoka XT950s, which weigh, literally, a little under 10 oz. each, so coming out of one of, if not THE lightest glove on the market, anything feels heavy -- I also think the snug fit added some to the weight experience that I had. odp 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 Anybody know how much the One90's actually weigh? (for the different sizes) Maybe I'll bring a portable scale out the next time I'm at my LHS.
