Jofa Gloves

Recommended Posts

Those are from a few years back. I think that's similar if not the same glove Forsberg used to use.

I figured as much. You guys on here all seem so up on the good gear...I'm just a pick up player...don't need the high high end stuff. I've never worn Eagles, but I know alot of the guys on here love them. When I saw those I figured I'd ask.

I am a Habs fan, so the colour scheme is cool.

Thanks again, cheers!

I used to have a pair of those. My brother uses them now on and off. We both love/loved them. Great gloves, espically for that price. Make sure they fit though, 13.5" is pretty small.

My current gloves are older Easton Air's (GX 1408) 14". Is 1/2 and inch that much. I have small hands.

I found the Eastons tight with the air pocket thing on the back of the hand. But they are pretty broken in now.

With those types of gloves, I think you get what you pay for, and for $20, I wouldn't expect much.

actually those are real good gloves as they are pro stock and have lots of plastic inserts. I once almost bought a pair....sick gloves

Hmm, I 've never seen a pair of these before, so I never actually commented on the actual quality of them. I stand by what I said, I think its a good general rule of thumb when it comes to hockey gear, especially on ebay. Looks like these might be an exception.

a guy on my rec league last season had a pair of those from the old blues color scheme (w/ the red trim)...i think they might have been sergio momesso's...or terry yake, or somebody from 96-97ish...

Our pro shop here in ATL has a couple of those from the thrashers but they are nylon. I tried them on and they felt like they needed to be broken in a little bit, but they did feel very protective. I didn't look at the size but they did look a bit small, so I would be careful if I were you about ordering that 13.5'', next time I go to the shop I'll look at what size they were and let you know.

These gloves actually weren't around then. These are the '99-00 model of jofa gloves. They were very high end, the retail on the 8000 was about $140 which at the time was VERY high.

Kosy, I think the reason these are going so low is because they're not a "traditional" looking glove. They were probably hard to move in some areas because they're so different looking.

I went over to Sportchek at Lunch and tried a simliar style JOFA glove (14") and they seemed really small....the 13.5" would definately be too small.

Thanks for all your input...I guess I'll hold onto my Easton's for a while...

Cheers!
