I did. I golf ass backwards. My low irons are without a doubt my best clubs. I can hit my 2 iron far more consistanly than my driver, or even like my 7 iron.

19* Sonartec MD Hybrid. I use the thing for a huge variety of shots. Great club. Hybrids are the real deal.

Just did. Who voted 2 iron? I heard only god himself can hit those.

That was a knife (1 iron)...Lee Trevino quote: "If you’re caught on a golf course during a storm and are afraid of lightning, hold up a 1-iron. Not even God can hit a 1-iron."

I voted for my 7 iron. For some reason I can stick that club no matter what the lie. Although since reshafting all my irons w/ steel shafts instead of graphite, my confidence in all of them has gone up big time.

Voted for the 7 to (Ping Eye 2 Green Dot). For some reason i can blast it high and far extremely consistently.

Whats up with hybrids? Do they realy work? Do they really make hitting the low irons much easier?

I said PW...cept mine got lost or stolen...it disappeared after the last time I played. I went to clean my clubs and it was missing so I'm kinda ticked.

Distance has never been a problem with the old eye2's for me or anyone who hits them. I've been hitting the Eye2 3 wood at the most 10 yards less than my G2 3 wood. The Drivers a whole new story though

Hybrids are awesome. They're far easier to hit, longer, and more forgiving then the long irons they replace. Not to mention, they also work great from sketchy lies of all kinds. Need to hit a low cut around a tree? In some hard pan and need to punch out? Those shots are all WAY easier with a hybrid. My hadicap dropped 4 strokes since I put two in the bag instead of the 3 and 5 wood. Most people probably would replace a 3 iron and a wood but I prefer irons to woods in general so I went the all hybrid/irons route.

With my Armour forged Evos my 8 and my SW both had the finish worn off the face. My flight home on Friday was overbooked so I ended up flying to Williamsport instead and went golfing with dad. I was using his clubs and I was crushing the ball with his 4 iron off the tee. It was a Nicklaus Air Bear or something like that.

I prefer irons to woods to -- thats y i have been skeptical of hybrids -- they look like they are fashioned after fairway woods --- do u swing it like a wood or like a iron? What would be a good one to try out -- as it seems our preferences are similiar.

If I had to pick one "money-club," it would most certainly be my 8-iron. For some reason, when I have my 8-iron set-up at address, everything looks better - the lie is nicer, there's not as much trouble around the green and the pin is more accessable. I just feel like I can hit whatever kind of shot I want and, no matter what, the result is always going to be a good one.
