LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Ok after lifting weights for about a year now when I went to the mall I couldnt fit into any jeans at all they were all much too tight in the legs. When i came home i measured my waist which is a 35 and my legs around are at 42 inches there is a pretty big difference there. With alot of the new jean styles the pants arent excessivly baggy and I was just wondering if anyone knows about any jean manufacture that makes jeans that are baggier but they look like lets say an abercrombie jean. LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 What mall have you been going too? They have hollister, abercrombie, armani and pretty much any other brand you can think of at the malls around me. Inless your buying your jeans at kohls or something I dont know what your talking about.
UMWhockey 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 the baggy jeans are good and AE loose fit work. I have the same problem and these are the two companies i get jeans from
sc37 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I love Old Navy jeans. They got a lot of styles and sizes. They have the in-between 33 waist which is perfect for me. Most other places have 32 and 34, but not 33. They might have what you want cause they make traditional, loose, baggy, and carpenter jeans. Might find something you like, and they're prices arn't bad at all.
Vapor 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Just look for loose fit jeans and all you're problems will be solved.Oh yeah, mall clothes are not stylish. I agree and disagree. It matters which mall you are talking about. There are some great malls with some high end department stores and trendy designers, and then there are malls that have old navy, aeropastle and Gap as anchors. I say just fly to the city and come over to 5th ave and do your shoping.
Thockey17 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I say just fly to the city and come over to 5th ave and do your shoping. Boutiques in the city are where its at for clothes, no doubt.Around here, no mall is complete without an Abercrombie or Hollister. I have been called un-fashionable by employees at these stores while walking by. HA! What mall have you been going too? They have hollister, abercrombie, armani and pretty much any other brand you can think of at the malls around me. Inless your buying your jeans at kohls or something I dont know what your talking about.Like I said before, i do not shop in malls for clothing, nor at Kohls. I rather not look like every other kid on the block thinking they have money because the shop at those stores.

Tell them to kill themselves, because the clothes suck, and the same thing would happen if those douches walked anywhere near a real "high end" store. If im not in NYC I pick up most of my clothes at the Westchester, which I'm sure Vapor can attest is pretty legit all around.

Sorry I don't have the bills to spend at Gucci or Armani. Buying a t-shirt for 60 bucks, not me.

Vapor 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Sorry I don't have the bills to spend at Gucci or Armani. Buying a t-shirt for 60 bucks, not me. LOL, I would LOVE to find a Gucci T-Shirt for 60 bucks. I have spent upwords of 600 dollars (im not braging, nor am I proud) on a shirt. You might say I am an ass or retarded for paying that much. I might agree with you. The thing you get for that price is AMAZIGN fit, great quality, and you just feel like a million bucks. Quality is better than Quantity.

kosydar 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Wow, all three of you guys sound like huge douches. I'm getting the same feeling reading this thread that I get when I watch Super Sweet 16. What, because some people don't like cheap, poor quality, unoriginal, clothing? Not at all. And lets be real, when you pay $600 for a shirt it isn't quality you're paying for. I have no problem with people dressing nicely. A lot of people are most likely jealous because they wish they were afforded the opportunity to wear clothes like you guys can. Just look at what you three are doing though. You're on an online message board A. trashing clothes which by most peoples standards are expensive and nice in quality B. acting like you are better than said people because you can afford to buy nice clothes. If I'm wrong with this statement, please correct me. But all three of you are young, and I can't imagine that any of you have earned these large sums of money by your own hard work. Acting like a snob because your parents or whoever are rich is fucking disgusting. Again, if I'm wrong, please correct me. From what I know, none of you are over 22-23. Its bad enough when people who actually have earned large sums of money act like they're better than everyone else. Its way worse when people who have done nothing act like it, too. Vapor 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I'll call you retarded for that <_< . But I feel I can get the same quality from my Hollister and Abercrombie stuff. How would you know? You cannot get close to the same quality. I'm not going to judge AF clothing, but they are regaurded as having low quality clothing. I work in the industry, and I am a student of the industry, so I know a good amount (not too much, but enough) about textiles, tailoring, etc.

See thats what I didnt want to do. I dont want to say anything sucks, or im so much better because I have a pair of ripped up jeans and I paid way too much for them. I work in High End Retail, so I do make a good amount of money. I also get a discoutn which comes in very handy.I am not saying those companies are crap for the sake of making my clothing look better. I am saying the quality of those companies are just not on par with the price they are charging. Again, I go to fashion school and I have worked for retail and textiles. I know the business pretty well for someone my age.
kosydar 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 I don't doubt your knowledge of the subject. If through your education you've learned that paying $600 for a shirt is worth it, then so be it. I'm not going to challenge what you've learned in a subject that you obviously know and care a lot about. But its shit like this that is disgusting. TH- Around here, no mall is complete without an Abercrombie or Hollister. I have been called un-fashionable by employees at these stores while walking by. HA!Cavs- Tell them to kill themselves, because the clothes suck, and the same thing would happen if those douches walked anywhere near a real "high end" store. And I like Cavs, too. But anytime someone says something like that, the respect meter significantly drops. That was a disappointing thing to read.
Vapor 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 Its all about preception and personal preference. I agree with Cavs though. Most people assosiated with high end designers and couture would look at AF and laugh. Some people like AF, some dont. I dont think it is very good clothing, quality or style wise. Most people who are into fashion share the same opinion. Are they right? Who knows. Their stuff is not original, not good quality, and boring, but thats just one mans opinion. I will give you a quote from AF CEO Mike Jefferies "We are going to keep increasing prices until they stop paying, I wouldnt be a very good CEO if I did not get my shareholders top earnings" This says a lot. Thockey17 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2006 But its shit like this that is disgusting. Honestly, i wear clothes that are equally priced or slightly higher than what those stores charge....with the exception of jeans and shoes. Never once have i thought that im a better person because of what i wear. What i was trying to say in my previous post, is actually the opposite way around.Kosy, you are picking us 3 out because we choose to spend more money on clothes than the normal person....and thats perfectly acceptable. But did you notice that the other members were/are doing the same thing as us to people who spend less than them?I think these 2 comments are just as bad as what we have said.Lmao -- so do you get your clothes online?Inless your buying your jeans at kohls or something I dont know what your talking about.Maybe its ignorance, but its probably the fact that they simply dont know that quality clothes are available outside of huge malls and retail stores/outlets.
