are those genesis wheels 80mm?

The boot looks small in the pic, so it could be that they are the 76mm Genesis wheels that come on any Code 1 thats smaller than a 7.5

You are correct. The size small Labeda cateye chassis only fits 76mm wheels, which is perfect for the sprungs.

I don't think so, but you could mess around with different size wheels to change it. I'm sure you probably have some old slightly worn wheels that are just a mm or two smaller.

Awesome, I just received my pair today. Great service! Gonna get them mounted ASAP.

Just one question though: Are the rocker arms suppossed to be really tight? I'm not an expert by any means, so I thought that maybe the rocker arms should be a bit loose to allow suspension for the wheels.

Think of the physics of a car, if the suspension is really loose it will be all bouncy and unstable, whereas a stiffer more tuned suspension will keep the wheels on the ground and flex when truly needed to provide the smoother ride.

Final-Frame-Forshort.jpg

OK, so here's the first pic of the new model. The pic was sent from China this weekend, and we'll have the first samples in hand in a couple of days. It's a full development step beyond the samples shown on the site. Both the rocker arms and the frame are structurally tougher now.

And note the new logo on the arms. Now instead of being an indent into the strength of the arm, the new logo is actually like armor instead.

And after our extensive testing of the earlier samples with the stiffer ride, we now know that we will be making a lighter durometer spring for skaters around 150 or less. The softer spring will allow lighter players more action and control of the full function of the suspension.

I weigh 160 and I'll probably switch to the new durometer myself. They'll be delivered with the stiff suspension and come with the lighter durometer springs in a packet. Some skaters may only want to switch the front to add more dig to their takeoff. Just as a reminder, the new ones are quite a bit stiffer than the closeout model.

Pretty sick stuff. I like the look of the new "thin" arms. Alternate durometer springs INCLUDED is awesome.

How are things going with the plastic spacers you're testing?

when will we be able to order them?

You can pre-order them on our site right now at a $20 savings but that's going to go away in a week or so.

If everything goes as planned, we'll deliver the pre-orders in a month, latest.

As for an all 80, we probably wouldn't do it unless we did it with Labeda. They are good friends and we really don't want to screw them up.

Keith,

Are the rear sole plate holes on the new chasis the same as the discontinued model or did you change the entire hole pattern? Also are the white rocker arms an option instead of blue/red or can the new chasis and or rocker arms be dyed?

All of the mounting holes are different on the new model. We tried to make them all more accessible.

And yes, the white rocker arms are now an option for all pre-orders. So you can get them with red, blue or white. When I put it up white wasn't an option, but we changed that. Everyone that ordered will be informed of the new choice.

The white material can be died different colors with Ritt dye. The color is even brighter than the natural color material when it's dyed.

Can't wait to pre-oder the all white on :-)

Had about a 2 weeks now on my Sprungs and after a short time of getting used to them I must admit that i fell completely in love.

Edit: Just wanted to pre-order the all-white ones, but only colors I could select were blue and red
