1.3 million

I don't know what to say. Good or bad?

He's a solid effort guy... will chip in offensively, be responsible defensively...May not singlehandedly win many games (depite his 4 goal game against Philly last year) but he will rarely lose you a game either.

Too many kids to get under contract for Montreal keep him around.

Great signing by the Canucks. I'll miss him playing in Montreal. He was under used last year and I felt he should've received more ice time. He's responsible defensively and I think he has underrated offensive skills. If you give him regular time on the second line I think 25-35 goals and 50-60 points is realistic if he stays healthy. 1.3 Million for a player like Bulis is a bargain in todays NHL. I can see why he wanted out of Montreal because he wasn't being given a lot of playing time - good signing by Vancouver and congrats to them.

Vancouver needs more players yet, not a bad move at this point but it may be a negative when they have too many third/fourth line players and lack any true point producers behind Naslund, Morrison and the Sedins.

Bulis is underrated, as stated by others to limited Icetime in MTL.

Played well when he got the chance, had like the highest points per minute last season in MTL.

if bulis is capable of a 4 goal game he's likely a perfect replacement of carter. I'm interested to see what Nonis will do with Pyatt and who will be on the top line

My only concern would be that these players like Kesler, Cooke, Bulis, etc. have not proven that they can play on a first or even second line over the course of more than 10 or 15 games.

cooke did okay with naslund and morrison after the you know what

Kesler was doing well with naslund and bertuzzi but now that berts gone maybe kesler could be with naslund and morrison.

ESPN has all of the point totals and minutes played for last season. If you want to spend the time to figure it all out, be my guest. (points divided by minutes played)

Ya hes a perfect fit in Vancouver. I've thought they should have signed him for a while now. I hope the Canucks aren't counting on 30 goals from the guy, he can chip in offensivly but he isn't a pure goal scorer. Canuck fans prepare to be very frusterated, this guy is an amazing skater and gets tons of breakaways but barly ever finishes despite having 20 goals. With the amount of chances he gets, even with limited ice time he should have had 30-35 goals

Canucks fans frustrated? The last few years, being a Canucks follower is like taking a season-long seminar on dealing with frustration!
