What Piece Of Equipment Do You Hate Buying

I hate buying skates. It's very time consuming and equaly frustrating trying to find the right fit. Then getting them home and breaking them in ......yikes

I have really flat feet {almost flippers}so maybe thats why I find it so difficult

Skates by far are my least favorite purchase

gloves for me. I like to get black or black and white or black and orange. so if theyre not that color i won't get them. they gotta feel right. once it took me an hour, and i didn't even get the gloves.

I don't hate buying any types of equipment, I look forward to when I need equipment. The longer; the better the search. I love looking for new equipment!!!

No gloves fit my hands properly.The fingers are never long enough and it drives me nuts. I also prefer a real leather palm so the damn sticks won't slip out of my hands. I have yet to find a glove that fits me the way I want and I've tried almost everything.

Probably shoulder pads. I can never find a nice set for me. So I just choose not to wear them.

Skates are a pain in the ass to shop for (well, actually foot) but I usually skate them till they're shot so I don't upgrade too often. I like the stiffness of new skates though.

Gloves on the other hand get upgraded fairly often and as Chadd said, you have to sacrifice some feel and nothing really ever feels "perfect". You pick out 4 or 5 pairs and choose the lesser of the evils.

i personlly dont like buying elbow pads. i find them annoting to find the right fit. I'm onbly on my second pair of elbow pdas (04 ultra lites) in about 8 years and ive tried on alot before. i think that elbow pads dont really feel right at teh begininng except for a few pairs so you really ahve to find a pair thats "made" for you.

I like buying any kind of equipment, just spending the time looking for what suits me the best. I like trying on the different types of high end skates and comparing them. My wallet and my parents definitely dont like it tho! Hockey can get veryy expensive at times! ;)

I like shopping for equipment, but if I had to pick one thing I likes the least it would be gloves. Like Chadd, I have long fingers and huge hands, and it is a real pain in the behind to find gloves that fit properly. The only gloves that have ever properly fit my hands were a old pair of Sherwoods that my friends dad owns, and he won't sell them to me .

Elbow pads- I have shorter arms so they interfere with my gloves and I always find them too bulky.

Really I like getting new Sticks, skates, gloves (Because normally the palm if worn-out on the old ones) and I don't mind Helmets. I despise getting anything else new. Just breaking in protective lines kill me.

Elbow pads piss me off the most. I wear my elbow pads pretty loosely and the only ones that I've found that stay in place are the higher end jofas. I don't like the bicep protector either so I have to get 8025/9025s or some other model and cut off them off.

Shoulder pads are bad because unless you put on a jersey in the store your not gonna know if you have a neck or not.

Skates and sticks. Skates take me forever to buy because I have weird feet. With both skates and sticks, I always find that I'm not 100% satisfied with the

one(s) I buy.

Skates for sure. I have a .25 or .5 size difference between feet so it's a real pain in the ass because even after I think they fit well, they inevitably end up hurting during the game.

I hate buying pants and elbow pads. Never get comfortable in them and end up making a crappy decision. Then shinguards, I don't know why but I just have a hard time with them in the store.
