D-man completely deked out of his skates.

I have been high on this kid since I saw him in person in the 03/04 season, great speed, phenomenal skill, completely fearless.

Said he needed to bulk up, and work on the attitude, he has bulked up, hopefully 2 years will have made him wiser, and oveys attitude will rub off on him.

But this goal makes me look forward even more to training camp and this season.

in NHL 2005 (EA) they pronounce his name SEE-MINN. I knew he was pretty good, but I went and traded for him simply because of how they pronounce his name.

I think it's a little ironic that in the almost 20 years since the end of "true" communism in the Soviet Union the Washinton(D.C.) Capitals' superstar is a Russian. Semin looks like another freak on skates! Good for the Caps!

I think the defence played it ok, obviously if he didnt slide he may have been able to take the body or the puck and not potentially distract the goalie as he did, but agianst a move like that performed as good as that thers not much you can do
