does anyone kow what this curve looks like? 1-800-faceoff is offering the Gionta Si-Core Pro stock stick. Is it another Shanahan type curve?

I remeber someone on ebay selling them, and the description was a 6 lie..........don't remember too well what the curve looked like but it seemed like a long-ish blade w/ a square toe.

The Synthesis and regular Easton woodies were straight but with a bit of a toe, but those Si-Cores listed say they're 3/4" toe curves. I don't see the curve changing that drastically but that could be a reason they're up for sale.

Sounds like they put his name on some Shanny's. I've seen that before when they're trying to get a player to switch. They just slap the name on the closest retail pattern.

Hopefully no one picks any other "pro" patterns up and find that they're regular retail patterns they could have gotten cheaper. I know the Brasher's going to be the Lidstrom but I'm not sure on some of the others. I think the Upshall may also be the Drury retail but I'm not positive.

Oates's says "custom flat" and Sullivan's is "custom flex" I believe. I would say for the most part they're actual pro patterns, but some people just use the retail ones. The Zholtok is one I'd like to check out and I'd like a Sullivan if they were stiffer.

If the flexes are something that is usually unavailable for retail (probably the Brashier, not the Upshall) then it's not that bad because they are getting something unique.

Oates woodies are ungodly stiff, I wonder if the Synergys are as well.

Anyone have a pic of Oates's pattern? I can get close to trying one but then I'm reminded of that short blade/fugly toe.

I'll pick up one of his woodies and snap a pic for you.

That'd be awesome but a bit much to ask. A general description of the curve would have done the trick as well.

Its a retail Shanny-type curve. But on the Nike Quest OPSs and XXs i've seen, the curve looked smaller, more like a mission cole.

Yeah...anyway, the only way it resembles a Shanny retail is that it's a toe-ish curve made by Easton.

Edit: Here's the Vapor XX pattern:
