Here is the best picture I have seen of Ovechkins skates. Also, what a good endorsee...he knows who pays him. I have seen him use Synergy sticks and other helmets in practice...come game time, CCM all over

The Synergy (and Stealth) sticks he used at practice were Richard Zedniks (synergy) and Alexander Semins Stealth.

He changes with them, usually at the start of practice, and he looked like he was trying to convince Semin to make the change to the CCM stick, because they were talking about them, and he was flexing it, and then semin was messing about with it.

But yeah, he is a good company man come gameday.

I was thinking the same thing. I read his post and took a good look at the skates, looking for ANYTHING other than vector 10s and hockey tape.. after I couldn't find one I came back here and realized that he was talking about the hockey tape..
