I have two bags, one blower. Shock Doctor had more bags made than blowers in the first production. I see why, as the bag can used without the blower. And the blower required customs clearance as an eletrical device (including high power rating with heater). I don't know for sure, but I assume Shock Doctor has ordered additional runs and these should be stocked soon. They also have a smaller, 32" bag (not the referee bag) coming out in a few weeks.

Where are you located? If your local LHS ordered them, they should have them by now. I have about 9 left, they went fast with the bags. Product of the Year!!! I think the mid-size bag will be wel received, some don't like the 40'"r because it's too big.

I have the bag and not the blower - I bought one of kredmore's extra bags. I contacted Shock Doctor and asked if they knew what retailers in the GTA carry the blower. They gave me the Canadian Distributor information, I contacted them and they told me that the bag wouldn't be in stock for another couple weeks and the blower wouldn't be available for 4-6 weeks. As Keith said, I think the delay with the blower is partly customs clearance on an electrical device and I was told that for Canada it's also due to the CSA testing/approval process (probably something similar in the US). Oh, and for those of you in the Toronto area interested in the bag the distributor told me that Just Hockey would carry them.

They sure took a long time delivering the units, so not surprised that Canada doesn't have them yet. Be patient, get on a waiting list for your LHS. Well worth the wait. I've been using mine for 2 weeks, now and it's wicked awesome. Can't wait for winter, no more cold wet equipment to put on.... sweeet. For me, because my equipment is big and doesn't fit in all the compartments, I had to take down the center divider and my sufff is just jamed in there. I'm sure the air flow is not optimum. Still, it gets dry and deodorized in about 4 hrs.

I have about 7 blowers left and two bags. Out of the 12 or so bags ive sold about 5-6 of them have come back with broken wheels. Company told us there was something wrong with the chemical makeup of the plastic that holds the wheels on. Good thing about it is that Shock Doctor doesnt make us ship the bags back to them, just give us credit right on the spot. I strongly believe this bag is for the younger players. We've had a few high school players and college players bring the bag back stating it didnt do anything to their equipment after leaving the blower on for hours.

Probably because they never aired their stuff out before they got the bag and expected the smell to just melt away.

Works great for me. I did air my stuff out but it still stunk, and this works like a charm

Thats the great thing about SD. I personally think they should just market their system as a bag you keep at home and put your stuff in to dry it out. I think the large bag is way too oversized to the point where you need a large SUV to transport it. Atleast theyve owned up to the poor manufactoring of the bag and arent beating around the bush like other manufactorers. Wish their bags were as popular as their mouthguards!!

There is a smaller bag being released.

I know they came out with the medium size bag. That one sold a lot better once we received them over the larger version. Hopefully theyll improve on this bag in the future as its a great concept that needs to be built upon.

Well, the medium sized bag doesn't require an SUV... so forgive my confusion.
