I have been hearing about this game non stop for weeks here in Ohio and obviously the majority is all for OSU but I was just wanting to know what some others opinions are from other parts of the country.

I refuse to care about any game in which Nebraska does not play. Who cares about the Big10 anyway, it's all about the Big12.

BTW- Why is it the big ten when there are 11 teams?

Go Bucks!

Can you believe my brother is getting married at 2:30 and I'm in the wedding? I won't be able to watch the game. I've got Tivo but it's just not the same. I'm so pissed about this...

One analyst said, "Conservatively speaking, this is the biggest sporting event in the history of the world." It doesn't get any worse, seeing every basketball/hockey/football game I watch this week remind me that I'm missing THE Game.

Many people might wonder why I'd be upset when I should be more concerned about the "special event." But their poor planning and lack of consideration for others has about 85 people in COLUMBUS, OHIO wondering why they're even going. Plus she's (the inconsiderate bride) less than pleasant. Damnit. I want to play sick. <_<

Man what the heck is with all the Michigan...bleh.

Go Bucks!

I have been a HUGE Michigan fan as long as I can remember, now. My buddy is a big OSU fan, so we had some battles growing-up. Obviously, he and I have been going at each other pretty good for the past couple weeks now.

If Michigan wins, he gets to wear one of my hoodies for the day. If OSU wins, on the other hand, well...you know...*shudders*

Actually if you look at the Big Ten logo you see the number "11"

I used to play against Chad Henne when he went to Wilson. He was always a great quarterback and leader. I can definitely see his confidence growing each game. I'm definitely cheering Big Blue on this weekend. Growing up a huge Michigan in Penn State Country has been tough, but it's great when i can rub it in their faces.

I really doubt this will be a high scoring game. OSU only allows like 10 points a game and Michigans D is only a little worse than that. Smith and Ginn will absolutely dominate Michigan, OSU by at least a TD, in a low scoring game.

In the words of the band The Dead Schembechlers - Chad Henne is a Mother F@#$ing Joke!

I've never seen a post just cease operations like this. I guess all of your (UM victory) predictions wouldn't have anything to do with that? I see you hiding...

Me? I didnt really care either way I was just looking for some opinions.

He was talking about everyone who said Michigan would kill OSU. But anyway, that turned out to be a helluva game. Too bad Michigan won't get a rematch... They're obviously the second best team in the country. OSU is going to kill USC in the National Championship game.

Bad news for Wisconsin though too after this week. They have the possibility, although very unlikely, of ending up at 3 in the BCS but would be shut out of a BCS Bowl bid because of the rules. They will end up at 5, possibly 4 if Arkansas beats Florida next week, but would still not get the BCS bid. That's ridiculous. I might be a bit biased being from Wisconsin, but they should get a BCS bid if they're in the top 5 in the BCS rankings.

All I can say is Wisconsin will beat the hell out of LSU/Arkansas, whoever they play in the Capitol One Bowl.

Even as a Michigan fan, I have to say that a re-match is the last thing I want to see. I feel you must be able to win your conference if you are going to be given the opportunity to win the National Championship.

Tough game...I got about 40-50 phone calls in the ten minutes following the game (I didn't answer any of them). I was definitely bummed.

I don't know, I'd love to see a rematch. I really think that Mich/OSU are the top two teams in the country, and after them, there is a pretty decent sized gap until you hit USC or Florida. Whichever of those two ends up playing OSU, which will most likely be USC, I don't see them winning it. USC put up an impressive performance against ND, but I can't see them beating OSU.

Reardless of what you believe the gap size is, Michigan has proven that they can't beat Ohio State when both teams are at their best. Sure, one more Ohio State turnover and Michigan may have completed the comeback, but great teams hold on to the ball like Ohio State did for a reason.

With that said, it makes sense to give the next best team, which USC proved they are on Saturday night, a shot of their own at the seemingly already crowned champion. With all the different styles of play and offensive/defensive systems in the game these days, a certain style of team will play one style of team better than another so determining the best/worst teams is difficult over such a short season.

No matter what the system, there will always be problems because there is bias. Finally, there is no debate between USC and Michigan. It is obvious that USC will remain #2 when they beat UCLA.

...It's not like OSU flat-out dominated the clock, though. Hell, if Crable doesn't take the stupid 'Roughing the Passer' penalty, Michigan gets the ball with about 7:00 left with the score still 39-31.

Unfortunately, that's not the way it went. Shawn hit Troy high and late, got flagged and ended up giving OSU a fresh set of downs (which led to a field goal). Yes, Michigan got beat, but it's not as if they were out of their league. OSU is the best team in the nation, but I still feel as though Michigan could beat them on any given day (as I make this statement, you must remember that I am an extremely biased Michigan fan).

USC will get DESTROYED by OSU. It won't be close. I say 45-13.
